My self-summary
In terms of personality, I'm a pretty easy-going, soft spoken guy. I like to think that I'm pretty bright and perceptive as well. My sense of humor can be a little dry, though I also love utterly random and goofy comedy.

I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors, be it hiking, camping or skiing (on water or on snow). I also like going to concerts (though I tend to prefer seeing shows at small venues like Eddie's Attic to big time concerts) going out to eat or taking in a Braves, Falcons or Yellow Jackets game. That said, I also sometimes like just staying home, curling up on the couch and watching tv or a movie.

Like everyone, I'm just looking to find someone with whom I enjoy spending my time.
What I’m doing with my life
Accounting. Your mind is probably visualizing magical conversations about debits, credits, materiality and other such exciting things about now :)
I’m really good at
Knowing random (and mostly useless) facts. You'd do well to ask me to join your trivia team :)
The first things people usually notice about me
My baby face. No one believes I'm 40 when they meet me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: A Walk in the Woods, The Short Stories of F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby, Paris 1919: Six Months That Changed the World, Lightning Man: The Accursed Life of Samuel F. B. Morse

Music: Death Cab for Cutie, Guster, R.E.M., U2, Whiskeytown, Uncle Tupelo, Son Volt, Old 97s, Cake, Better Than Ezra, Michael Penn and others that I'm doubtlessly forgetting at the moment.

Now, for some random links to music, in case you might be interested.

The Cars "Just What I Needed." It needed more banjo.

A song that should have been bigger than it was.

Think cheesy pop suck inherently sucks? Perhaps a good cover can change your mind.

I don't mind a little Americana sound...

When Indy bands go a little pop, I kind of like it. Particularly if they have Gillian Welch on board.

Speaking of Gillian Welch... (with Ryan Adams).

Greg Laswell. Who is he? Don't know, but he wrote at least one good song.

If you have some song suggestions for me. Feel free to hit me up.
The six things I could never do without
A car;
Dr. Pepper (so good but so bad for you);
The Internet (it is the 21st century);
College football;
Warm sunny days (I hate the cold); and
Jokes that make me laugh.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How I'll spend my lottery winnings (even though I never buy a ticket).
On a typical Friday night I am
It varies. Sometimes I go out for a nice dinner. Other times I go out for drinks with friends and sometimes I lay low at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I may have discovered the Lou Reed's "Perfect Day" through a television ad for the Playstation 4.
You should message me if
You think you have something to add to a guy's life.
