I am a 54 yo single, white, Christian, woman. In general, I am a straight forward kind of lady. I say what I mean and mean what I say. I try to act like the Suthun Lady I was raised to be but sometimes...maybe most of the time...the sahrcastic witted fun side comes out.
I enjoy concerts, the opera, plays, museums, books, antiques, and traveling, just to name a few things. And guys, I know a lot of you don't like some of those things. The good news, you don't have to. I have friends, a mom or a daughter that enjoy doing them with me if you don't want to. As to outdoor activities, I enjoy walking, hiking, the beach, driving through the mountains, and bocce ball. Further, I think I would like to learn to kayak, paddle board, and maybe even golf. I am old-fashioned in a lot of ways, especially when it comes to dating and getting to know my gentleman friend. I enjoy being treated like a lady, having doors opened for me, being picked up for dates, and being wined and dined on those dates. I'm not high-maintenance; the dates don't have to be expensive just not cheap (as in fast food) either.
I value a man who is a Christian that strives to walk his talk. I don't expect perfection because no one is! Generosity, chivalry, integrity, a good communicator and a good sense of humor are traits truly valued. I am looking for a special man who, besides the above characteristics, is intelligent, patient, laid back and loves to travel, whether a weekend trip to the beach or mountains or a week or so out of the country. I like a man that is a strong kisser and hugger. A little romance goes a long way with me.
Thanks for reading my profile. I hope to hear from some of you soon...in full, complete sentences. No one word sentences please.
I like a lot of different movies however, no horror movies. I love old black and white movies too.
As to TV, I like The Big Bang Theory (it's about the only comedy I watch), House of Cards, Game of Thrones, Homeland and others.
I like most genres of music. I grew up in the 70's so I really enjoy some of the classic rock that came out of that era. Also while growing up, I listened to classical music (because my mom played it). Pretty much the only music I'm not fond of is rap music but I will admit to rarely liking a rap song or two. Well, ok, so I like music. It's really a song by song choice as to whether I like it or not.
I love food! I enjoy cooking, especially if I have someone special to cook with. My biggest issue, I hate cleaning up after. I consider it a necessary evil. I love French, Italian, Chinese, Thai...you get the drift.
Oh, and did I mention an air-conditioner? (or a cooler climate.)
