My self-summary
What to say.

Canadian. Living and working in Leuven. Before that, several years studying in/near Washington, DC, and a few years working in Sydney, Australia.

I am always up for stimulating conversations (preferably if tea, beer or a good bottle of wine or whiskey is involved). Love swimming, yoga, and generally rockin' it in the great outdoors (camping, canoeing, hiking, etc.).
What I’m doing with my life
I am a researcher in neuroscience and philosophy. I work on (among other things) how we see.
I’m really good at
self high-fives ("yeah I am" *slap*)

Being patient (e.g. waiting to be high-fived).

Surviving in the cold (I know what - 40 C feels like).

Vegan baking.
The first things people usually notice about me
I talk a lot.

How the brain works. Politics. What I want to drink next.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hopefully, having a good drink somewhere (beer, wine, cocktails, liquor. Whatevs. I love it all. Put it in my body).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I cried softly to myself while watching the movie "Her" on a plane.
You should message me if
You self identify as a feminist (i.e. believe in gender equality, and don't think society is quite there yet) and wanna hangout. You art. You science. You try to make a difference. You want to help me practice my Dutch!
