My self-summary
Lets see, I'm a nice outgoing guy who likes to make friends with everybody that I meet. I really enjoy going to basement shows and various other types of concerts. I'm just as at home at a punk show as I am at an art museum. I hoop and occasionally spin fire. I am an aspiring chef who is attending school at the culinary institute of America . I love to throw dinner parties with my friends where someone else handles the drinks while I make the food. I have an inescapable urge to explore new places through getting lost. My sense of humor is more on the morbid side than most.
The first things people usually notice about me
My height and my kind of quirky behavior. That and I quack sometimes when I meet people, or to break the silence, or sometimes it just kind of slips out. Sorry, I'm a bit of a quackhead.... I'm so so sorry, that joke was just too fowl... I'll stop, I'll stop. Though I'm just quacking up at that last one.... Ok bye
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I'm a huge fantasy nerd. I love Harry Potter and similar novels. I also love sci-fi books with a passion. I also have a love for classic literature like Hemingway and Faulkner. Though recently all I've had to read is cookbooks and chef bios.

Music: I listen to a lot of different genres. I've been listening to waaaaayyy too much powerviolence, ska and folk punk recently.

TV: doctor who, law and order, bones, the daily show, firefly, supernatural, Sherlock, the Dresden files, and too many anime to name... Yeah I'm a bit of a nerd.

Movies: any thing by Hayao Miyazaki, aside from that I haven't been watching many movies recently. When I do it is usually a fantasy/ adventure movie. Or a good crime drama. I really love the movies "repo the genetic opera", and "the devils carnival" but not many people know what I'm talking about when I bring those up. Oh, and Wes Anderson's films are just tops.
The six things I could never do without
- My knife roll and vegetable peeler
- My family even if they do drive me kind of nuts
- My books
- My friends
- My cat
- I'm not really sure what else to put, so I shall ponder it further and let you know.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I usually get lost in my head as it seems to work rather rapid fire, so I tend to get caught in deep seemingly random trains of thought about the world and the varied connections around us. With my mind it is kind of a grab bag of ideas that I assure are connected even if they don't appear so to the untrained eye.
