We are in the process of moving back into the States, to Seattle.
My wife will study engineering at the University, and I will aim to find a little clinic to practice traditional Chinese medicine.
A Tai Chi nerd & meditation addict, I run a community clinic devoted to holistic medicine in Costa Rica.
...Check out our community video here:
...and our separate clinical website here:
We reside on an organic farm, halfway up a mountain, and live in a house with more dogs than walls.
Mostly here as a game, alongside my partner. (Delia_Bitch)
Also, I've always wanted to create a personal "User Manual" for potential polyamorous partners to peruse. The question/answer section here will serve nicely. I try to be detailed & clear. I've mostly used the Q & A as a way to explore my own thoughts/experiences about meditation & the nature of "self"...ness.
That said, if you happen to find yourself fitting me perfectly, feel free to get in touch. I'm not great about checking e-mail, so don't hold your breath... but perhaps a real friendship can evolve from this?
I really enjoy routine, and exploring the depth of a few things, rather than a little of everything. My teacher says I have "Butt-Power".
Also, there are educational videos that I enjoy putting together on YouTube. Check 'em out if you're interested:
If you, like me, love books - check out some of what I've read over the past few years:
I've "rated" lots of the movies I've seen on IMDB. Check out my favorites by searching for "JohnLuckyBlue"
To see some of the music I've been listening to, check out my account on Pandora Radio by searching for "John Blue" on Pandora.com.
Really enjoy teachings from people like: Adyashanti, Nisargadatta, Mooji, Jac O'Keefe, Ramana Maharshi, Pema, Eckhart, Karl, Dalai, Rumi, Li Po, "pure" Daoism / Buddhism, etc. etc. etc.
...It's tough to be more specific than that, since I love so many things. Love is pretty easy for me.
In general, I'm someone who is constantly learning something new, and working to get better at something old. While I'm not currently enrolled in any university, I'm usually studying more than most hard-working students. This is such an amazing world, and I love learning more! (It's tough to be more specific, because I will be studying something new each time someone reads this...)
A book to study
I try to stay to “original mind”.
Usually the most difficult piece of my life to describe, comes through my meditation. How do you describe to a stranger that the concept of "self" is only an empty fiction of thought? ...At least, without them deciding you're crazy??
A friend recommends that I post results from some tests here:
Attachment Theory/Style: "Secure" Attachment Pattern
Took the MENSA test & scored a "29" out of 30 (was too slow)
Enneagram: One with a Two-Wing: “The Advocate”
I still may not respond, so please don’t write to me out of boredom or troll-dom. Remember that I do have a partner already, and we've only gotten closer & happier over the past 11 years. (!) We do identify as "Polyamorous", so are open to expanding our relationship... if a perfect partner comes along.
Someone out there is bound to be just like me, so they might be fun to connect with.
