I'm a HUGE foodie-- you know the whole "eat to live" or "live to eat" debate? I fall on the far end of the "live to eat" spectrum. I've been known to travel half an hour (or more) out of the way just to try a new homemade ice cream or the best pastries in town. One of the best things about moving out here is the opportunity to try out tons of new restaurants.
I split my time between the peninsula and SF, where most of my friends live.
I love learning and value education. If I could get paid to be a permanent student, I'd take the job. Instead, I settle for working at a university and being jealous of the classes my students sign up to take.
I don't own a dog (yet) but wish I did and dog-sit any chance I get. Bonus points if you've got one.
TV: I'm a Law and Order junkie (don't tell!), and I watch a random selection of shows depending on my mood. I really like to watch pro basketball and football, but I hate to watch alone... wanna join me? :)
Books: I love to read, hit the library almost every weekend. I don't have many favorite books, just always looking to devour something new and interesting, fiction or otherwise.
Movies: 10 Things I Hate about You, Oceans 11, American President, El Lobo (Spanish flick- you should check it out- it's amazing), Mean Girls (yes, I just admitted that publicly!), Before Sunset, The Devil Wears Prada, Man on Fire
Music: My music tastes are pretty varied, but I love music in general and have it playing almost all the time. Lately I've been digging up old hits from the past and making playlists on Spotify... Anyone else remember the song Wishful Thinking?
