My self-summary
I am a bloke who lives in Fife and works in Edinburgh. I am shy initially, but once I open up I am trusting and loyal. I don't like heavy drinking or clubbing, I do like a quiet social drink and a meal out. I worry to much and should be more spontaneous, the flip side is I take care and consider other's feelings. I am bad at reading people at times so hints have to be a bit obvious.

I am an Introvert.
What I’m doing with my life
I currently work for an IT company doing graphic design and web design.

I occasionally pretend to use a DSLR camera. I geek out at dorky things on the internet.

I realise now many things would be far more interesting with a partner in life. I want to go places and see things. That's not the only reason for this, but I do feel that together we could be better than apart.
I’m really good at
Graphics mainly computery stuff like Photoshop and web design.
Being friendly and shy at the same time.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have let my hair grow out, its pretty long at the moment. If its too short my hair stands up on end. So I am going with that flowing locks look.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I am going to assume this area is for more than the above. I realised that my old entry was just a list.

I like to read, but I stare at a computer screen for a good chunk of the day at my work. So the few things I read have to hook me. The Lost Fleet is one example, its military Sci-Fi, maybe drags on too long, but I am hooked now. When the blue moon aligns with hell freezing over the latest volume of Bleach. I have read it for so long now I just want to know the end. I have sworn off any more Shonen Jump series. I would like to listen to more audio books. I listen to a lot of podcasts at the moment.

I watch films with a friend of mine who is really into them. I like the usual comic book blockbusters and some of the CG animated features at the cinema. I also like Anime, so usually watch at least one thing at Scotland Loves Anime at the Filmhouse. I also like Sci Fi that makes you think, old and new. No good at horror, you'll have to watch that without me. Though I do like Alien and Predator.

Shows, hmm, again very much like the above movies. No CG shows. I also like NHK World its like BBC from Japan. There is something incredibly relaxing about watching a show about a watch fixer. I watch a lot of YouTube, tech like Tek Syndicate, nerdy stuff like the Vlog Brothers (DFTBA!) and random others like Diggin' in the Carts and Toko Toko. Anime wise I subscribe to Crunchyroll for my geeky fix.

Music wise I am in the tech/geek/goth camp. I like the Birthday Massacre, Pertubator, Lacuna Coil, John '00' Flemming, Flow and random others. Soundtracks are nice also.

I play video games, I am pretty fussy. So I am not nailed down to a genre, just I like what I like. My all time favourites are Mass Effect, Skies of Arcadia, Pinball Fantasies, Skyrim and Burnout Paradise. I have been playing since I was in single digits.

Food err, pretty plain. I have problems with a variety of foods. So its not really that I am fussy, I just don't like being ill. I am not going to go into what I can and can't eat here. So lets just say I like a nice fresh muffin once in a while.
The six things I could never do without
(1) My body - for um, breathing and living and all that stuff ;)
(2) My Family
(3) Headphones + music
(4) My Glasses (I'm like a mole!)
(5) Things that make me go what?!?!
(6) Computer of some sorts
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Thanks to Carl Sagan, The Cosmos!
On a typical Friday night I am
Chilling out after a long week and planning the weekend or up my local mini size traditional pub.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I get the feeling my own opinion of myself is lower than others of me.
You should message me if
I sound like your cuppa tea.
