My self-summary
ISTP in search of cute female for long cuddles on the couch (walks on the beach and hikes through the forest are also cool).

I'm a pretty laid-back guy. I rarely get stressed about anything, and I'm good at dealing with crises. I find that my mood tends to reflect that of the people around me, so I prefer being around people who are high-energy and upbeat, and I try to avoid people who are angry or depressed. I'm not great at starting conversations, but I'm good at adding color - if I ever make it on an episode of QI, I'll probably win. David Mitchell is my spirit animal.
What I’m doing with my life
Working in marketing, doing nothing related to my degree (Chemical Engineering).

I am a big fan of board games, and enjoy playing competitively, including buying plane tickets for the purpose of getting to a tournament on more than one occasion.
I’m really good at
helping people solve problems. Not computer problems or car problems - I am not great with either. I mean Real Life problems, like "my labmate is being mean to me," "the gutters are clogged," or "there's a spider on the wall!" :D

not getting lost. If I've been someplace once, I can usually find my way there again without any help.
The first things people usually notice about me
Physical traits - tall, very thin. It takes only a little longer for people to pick up on my extremely dry wit.

Several people have told me that I'm "blunt, but in a good way." I prefer to think of it as wearing my heart on my sleeve.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Stuff I like: Star Wars, D&D, Marvel Comics, Joss Whedon, card games, board games.
Six things I could never do without
Water. Seriously, I drink more of it than anyone I know, and I have a funny story about this.
Cuddles. I really, really like to cuddle.

Beyond that...I don't know. I'm pretty low maintenance.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Whatever game I'm currently obsessing about. Lately: Final Fantasy Record Keeper, Netrunner, Star Wars: Imperial Assault, Battlestar Galactica (boardgame). If you enjoy playing these or similar games and want to get together for a game night (even if not interested in dating), let me know.

I'm pretty active in the local Lindy Hop scene, and I've even been conned into teaching a few beginner lessons. So I've been thinking a bit about how to explain how to dance. It's tough!
On a typical Friday night I am
going out for dinner with friends, then over to someone's house for movie night or board game night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I recently read "On the Road" to try to figure out what the fuss is about... and I still don't know.

Also, I like both East Coast and West Coast swing. Gasp!
You should message me if
you have your life together and are looking for someone to share it with. If you'd like to get together for a game. Or if you want to know where to go to swing dance.
