My self-summary
Most people would call me a decent guy with a smart-ass side, but generally I'm a good, caring bloke. Always reading and looking for new things to learn. Somewhat sarcastic and snarky at times with a tendancy to play devil's advocate whenever a good debate comes along.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently, I'm working part time for a community newspaper as a writer/pseudo editor while studying community services, so that I can help those less fortunate. I'd like to help people out, give them a leg up in life and repay the people who have done the same for me by passing on the kindness.
I’m really good at
Cooking and reading. Being in the kitchen and having the chance to experiment is great fun. Getting chilli in your eyes isn't, but we all make stupid mistakes once in a while!
The first things people usually notice about me
Usually my age. I get told a lot that I look 4-5 years younger than I actually am.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Bookwise, I like Raymond E. Feist, Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson, Anne Bishop, Tamora Pierce and plenty more than I can list.

Movies, I'm a bit of an action/adventure buff. Series like Die Hard always go down well with me, though I am partial to a lot of the Disney/Pixar animated films. Aladdin, Up! and the Incredibles are all great picks.

I don't really watch a lot of TV, but I do go for the crime/sci fi type shows. Law and Order and its multiple spin offs, NCIS, the new Hawaii Five-0 and Warehouse 13 are all shows I try not to miss!

Music, I'm a bit of a mixed bag. I suppose I do like some generic pop on occasion but otherwise I prefer classical and celtic.

As for food, well, I'll try most things once! Just as long as it isn't anything outlandish like cow testicles. I prefer to eat savory, but I'm far better at cooking sweet. Go figure!
Six things I could never do without
Books, friends, the Internet, money, transport and family.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Politics, social issues and what I'd like to cook in the next few days. How to eat healthier on a budget and still make it taste delicious.
On a typical Friday night I am
Cooking, reading, studying or annoying friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've never been blackout drunk.
You should message me if
You enjoy good food and good conversation without taking it too seriously.
