I love laughter, music, film, people and science.
I love discussion. I love to get to know people and hear ideas, stories, view points that differ from my own. To shed light in a dark corner of a subject matter allows you to grow your perspective on how people and the world work. Also, the more ridiculous the discussion is usually the better! (e.g. Would you rather be twice your weight or half your height? Discuss!)
On any given night that I'm not at work, you could find me watching movies, going to events around town or going out for some drinks with some people I hold dear.
I like to exercise, stay physically fit and live a relatively healthy lifestyle. My favorite food is pizza so it's a daily struggle that I embrace.
I think a lot, and I follow film, music, politics and science articles on a weekly basis and there is a chance that I'll bring it up in conversation. I want somebody who is curious at examining the life around them and doesn't mind discussing what happens to pop into their heads. What pops into your head doesn't have to be what I am interested in just as long as it's something you find at least mildly fascinating. I genuinely want to know what you're thinking and feeling.
With all that stuff said, I am usually pretty silly and mostly joking around. ^_^
I'm starting a brewery. Currently, in the recipe perfecting phase.
10-15 Year Goal: Start a film and television production company. I have so many ideas!
In the meantime, I work at a country club to pay the bills.
Finding something to talk about.
Finding energy to do things.
I can also talk about pretty much any topic as long as I have a little bit of knowledge in said subject - tangential strings of extrapolated ideas and what not.
Books: The Picture of Dorian Gray, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The Brothers Karamazov, Sandman, Sin City. Philosophy.
Movies: I guess you could call me a cinephile. There isn't a genre I don't like. In an attempt not to empty the conversational fodder for a first date, I'll just tell you that I've seen and see a lot of movies throughout the year. Ask me about one and I'll probably know something about it. Some great films of this year: The Witch, Swiss Army Man, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Weiner, Green Room, The Lobster, Zootopia, Midnight Special.
Shows: Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, South Park, lots of various anime, Star Trek, Louie, How I Met Your Mother, Fargo, Doctor Who
Music: There is quite a lot to love from every genre but I tend to stay away from pop country and dutch yodeling. I gravitate more towards Indie, Hip-Hop and Electronic music. Some examples are: The Beatles, The National, Nine Inch Nails, Bon Iver, Opeth, Tool, Alex Mind, The Tallest Man on Earth, Grizzly Bear, Bjork, Eminem, LCD Soundsystem, Claude Debussy, Chopin, Yoko Kanno, Japandroids.
Food & Drinks: I love food. I mean who doesn't? I'll try anything and everything once. I love it all except for green peppers. Nasty little unripened monsters, sneaking up on me in dishes. If I had to pick a favorite culture to culinarily dive into it would probably be Asian. I also love trying different kinds of craft beers.

you have enough time in your life to dedicate to seeing somebody.
you don't shy away from intelligent discussion.
you love sushi. Every non-suhsi loving person is just one sushi roll away from being a sushi loving person.
