My self-summary
I consider myself to be thoughtful, independent, fun and loyal to the core. Others often tell me I'm outgoing, trustworthy, smart and understanding. I value all of these attributes and look for the same in others.

I enjoy dance fitness, the great outdoors, dining out, Bay Area sports, and enhancing/improving my career interests. I admit I stay pretty busy as a result, but there is always time for new friends and adventures.

I have experienced a lot in my life thus far, but know there are many more awesome experiences to be had. Life can be crazy, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I am far from perfect, but strive to be the best person I can be by learning from what life brings. I certainly didn't become who I am by taking the easy road, and I believe I am a better person for it.

I am a bit of a living dichotomy (not just because I'm a Gemini). I can be the ultimate girly girl but also the girl next door. I clean up well but also love just hanging out watching the game. And by "girl", I do mean woman.

Oh and my favorite color? Orange! And yes, I bleed it!
What I’m doing with my life
In short, I'm still looking for my bliss. My life is great; but I still believe ultimate bliss is obtainable.

Work life consists of marketing which I initially got into it because of the design/creative aspects (as opposed to the sales side). I don't think my work defines me, but I do actually enjoy it - even when it's stressful.

I used to work, work, work but have learned to appreciate the importance of work/life balance. It's been a bit of self discovery - it's been both, interesting and fun. I'm always living and learning. Life truly is too short.
I’m really good at
The details. I'm kind of a neat freak, I notice the small stuff. Would that make me a little OCD? Yeah maybe a little, but in a good, healthy way...if there is such a thing? ;)
The first things people usually notice about me
My friendly nature. I am easy to talk to, enjoy good conversation and overall interested in what people have to say. I generally don't have a problem talking to people I don't know; take that for whatever it's worth.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I have vowed to myself to read more for fun. No real favorites, but I enjoy fiction and biographies.

Movies, I'm THAT person at the theater who will laugh out loud, cry, jump, cover my eyes. Movies are definitely made with me in mind - as the ultimate audience.

Music, I love feel good music, particularly music that I can sing and dance to. (Even in/especially in the car!) I particularly love live music, it's good for the soul.

Shows/TV, I find that I like crime/spy dramas best, but do enjoy the occasional silly sitcom for pure comedic value. I watch sports more often than not though.

Food, I can't say enough about it! I truly wish sometimes that I didn't get hungry. There isn't much I don't like. Luckily (or unluckily?) most of my closest friends are not picky eaters. It makes the dining experience that much more enjoyable. :)
The six things I could never do without
Family/Friends
Lip balm
Music
Good food
Sun
Sleeping in my comfy bed.

Major props if you noticed the last one ended with a period, as it is a statement.

I know some people say "sleep is for when you're dead". I'm not one of those people. I get pretty cranky when I don't get enough of it. I just like and enjoy my sleep.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How massive this world is and how we're all merely a blip on the radar. Having said that, I try to enjoy life to the fullest as much as I can. No regrets...Yolo...however you want to put it.

I do tend to multi-task quite a bit so I rarely am thinking about one thing at a time. (I am a woman after all.)
On a typical Friday night I am
I usually don't do much on Friday nights as I am usually pretty wiped from the work week; at the same time though there is always a reason to do something fun/spontaneous/unexpected.

Happy hour and good food with awesome friends is most standard, but if not that; I'm usually at the gym or taking a dance class and then hanging out with friends afterward for a low-key night.

However if a Bay Area sports team is playing, I'm usually watching the game somewhere (or at least following on my mobile device).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Not sure if it's "private" really, but I like "cute" things. It makes the girly girl in me more evident for sure, but it could also be because I'm Japanese? Hmmm. I'm definitely young at heart which can be off-putting at first, but people tend to love me for it and appreciate it after awhile. ;)
You should message me if
I am constantly amazed how hard it is to meet new, genuine people. I've found most people are too busy with their own agenda to really engage anymore. I have to admit that it's been really disappointing. Are you like "most people"? I challenge you to prove me wrong.

I'm looking for someone who is confident, doesn't take themselves too seriously, lives in the moment, and yet can appreciate that same moment for what it is.

Life is too short for indecisiveness, selfish behavior and drama. "I ain't got no time for that!"

If you made it though my entire profile and any of it resonates, send me a note.

PS. Doesn't hurt either if you can watch an entire baseball game with me ;) I love my Giants!
