My self-summary

My name is Henri I have lived and grown up around beautiful WNC for the majority of my life. That being said I love the outdoors and try my hardest to find some new trail or swimming hole if the weather is right. My other passion is music, I love going to concerts of all kinds and can get down to about anything.
What I’m doing with my life
I was recently accepted into Appalachian State University! I'm studying Fermentation Sciences and I'm drunk with excitement! So far I've had a pretty good time in Boone but would love to meet new people.

Prior to formal education I worked at Barley's Pizzeria in downtown Asheville as a line cook. I typically loved my job and the people I work with, my only complaint being that it really dampers my social life, which is why I'm here.

During breaks from school I return to barleys to cook and work with my old friends in the kitchen. I have had fun in Boone but Asheville is a place I miss dearly so it's great to be able to come back from time to time!

Outside of your normal adult responsibilities I try to maintain a healthy lifestyle with plenty of wandering mentally and physically to keep me fit.
I’m really good at
Lets see,

I love wordplay and although my jokes can sometimes be reminiscent of your dads, I like to believe that mine are slightly superior.

I know I'm good with directions if that counts as something.

My passion is music and I've been playing drums now for 10+ years so either I'm a decent drummer of I've destroyed my hearing so badly I can't tell.
The first things people usually notice about me
my sense of humor will either make you laugh or hate me.

I get compliments on my hair on a fairly regular basis.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I've been a passionate reader for almost my entire life, I love literature and find such an immense pleasure from reading that it's hard for me to imagine a life outside of novels.

I prefer fiction, but can appreciate a finely written historical piece or autobiography, especially if the autobiography is about a musician that I already appreciate.

My favorite authors are:

Tom Robbins, Murakami, Kurt Vonnegut, and JK Rowling.

my favorite childhood books were Harry Potter, the prisoner of azkaban being my all time favorite.

now that I'm a little older these are some of my favorite reads...

I spend a lot of time thinking about
The Future. In short. Mostly how to achieve my goals and to live a happy fulfilling life.
On a typical Friday night I am
well...seeing as I used to work at a high volume kitchen in downtown Asheville I was typically burning myself on oven doors.

For the next month and half I'm going to rediscover the beauty of the elusive weekend.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
The Beach Boys were the reason I went to Bonaroo last year, gotta dig those good vibrations!
You should message me if
watch out, you might get what your after, cool baby, strange but not a stranger, I am an ordinary guy...

Also. If you enjoy equating your life with sand, and only if you can enjoy myself. Maybe so, maybe not?

Perhaps you find as much enjoyment as I do from using lyrics to describe oneself.

so go ahead,

you might ask yourself MY GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE
