My self-summary
I'm a geek at heart, and I've leaped into the career of teaching. I am usually pretty shy around people I don't know very well (and people I have a crush on). I like RPGs and often play characters who can think up oddly creative ways out of difficult situations. I seem to get along better with women than with men. I think British comedy is hilarious. I try to always be there for my friends if they need someone to talk to, but I'm not very good at letting people know if I have deeper feelings for them. Women who are both highly intelligent and have fun, quirky personalities really make me swoon. Windstorms really get my blood pumping. I have a big weakness for DVDs. I've got a LiveJournal under this name, too.... Hey, I just noticed that nearly every woman in my World Matches Top Ten is bi. And most of them poly, too. I guess I collect cool people...or they collect me. I can see it now: "Cristoforio! Collect all one of him!" I'm currently in an off-again-on-again relationship with a wonderful bi-poly girl. Without knowing me, some will probably be frightened away by my age, and that is a bit saddening.

I am quiet, hilarious, and devoted
What I’m doing with my life
I teach. I got my teaching degree in English and currently have 3 part-time jobs (all in the teaching field). I substitute teach for 2 school districts, I am a part-time administrator for a gifted & talented program, and I part-time teach Spanish to elementary students. I want my own classroom, but haven't found a great match yet.
I’m really good at
I "accidently" memorize way too many funny things I hear on television. I also do voices. Accents and funny voices are great! I also am pretty good at giving backrubs, neckrubs, footrubs, facerubs, etc.
The first things people usually notice about me
Either my beard, my smile, or the fact that I loooom really well.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I finished the latest Harry Potter (I like them all), and a poetry book I have by Robert Wrigley.

I could never narrow this down to one single film (I'm like that), but I enjoyed Pirates of the Caribbean, Return of the King, Finding Nemo, and Minority Report. I know, it is all pretty mainstream, but I didn't get out much this year.

I'm into lots of different things. NIN and Tool to Tori Amos to Queen to the Eagles and many points in between.

I admit I don't have a sophisticated palate, but I do love a good steak. But I could never enjoy a low-carb diet. I like pasta too much.
The six things I could never do without
my lovely and beautiful friends, my DVD collection and player (that counts as ONE!), books, notebook and pen, art supplies to keep my friends happy, touch (highly important), my pillow and comforter, whatever obsession I'm on at the time, and...what? Only six? Blast!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where, oh where, will I be the next time I *insert something here*. When was the last time I *more things to insert here*. Does what I just wrote mean what I *think* it means? <--- this one most of all
On a typical Friday night I am
At "movie night" with my friends - we've made it a tradition to gather at a friend's house late in the evening and watch some movie or another until 1am or so. One of the things I look forward to every week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Though I self-identify as mainly Christian, my belief structure is actually a mix of many different religions, including Judaism, Paganism, Buddhism, Islam, and others. I've never found a single organized religion that fits me. -- "No, I don't think you understand. What is the most private thing AFTER all the things you're not willing to admit?" - misquoted from Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
