My self-summary
I'm currently travelling across Canada and spending a little time in Vancity. I'm following my bliss and I think it follows that I should be going out on dates with men.
Yep, going out on dates is a good idea.
What I’m doing with my life
You know, I kinda just do whatever I want.
I tend to Life in an artful manner, I am happy and thankful for my accomplishments as an artist working in theatre and television. I believe in constant evolution and ready for the next creative step.

I'm really good at being by myself but I miss having someone to elbow in the guts when I see something that takes my breath away.

I don't hinder myself from enjoying the finer things in life: travelling whenever I can, wining and dining and sporting superior footwear.
Right now it goes from hiking boots to Fluevogs.
I’m really good at
I'm really good at anything I set my mind to. But I change my mind all the time. I'm good at coming up with solutions, making beautiful things and living room dance parties. I'm good at fabulousness, getting dressed up, forgetting where I put my keys, making believe and staying up all night. I'm also very good at building a fire, riding my bike, being really loud, being really quiet, risotto, mismatched cutlery, being independent and picking up my own heavy boxes.
The first things people usually notice about me
If they're within earshot, it's usually my laugh, it's kind of noticeable.
I'd also say my face is noticeable, or parts of it at least. I have pronounced features and an impeccable sense of style.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Some of my favourite books are reference books on building and making things: props and costumes, special effects makeup and makeups in general, crafting, painting techniques.
Travel guides!
I love Kurt Vonnegut- fell in love when I read Breakfast of Champions.
Margaret Atwood.
Milan Kundera- L'Immortalité kinda made me weep.
And my other favourite books are plays.

The movies I own and can watch over and over are Beetlejuice, Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Addams Family, Baraka, Edward Scissorhands (I really dig Tim Burton's aesthetic)
Visuals in films are a great draw and I love delving into a fantastic universe, the films of Terry Gilliam and Guillermo del Toro are good examples.
I also very much enjoy a good Kung Fu flick as well as documentaries.
The last ones I watched were Food Inc., Blackfish, What Happened Miss Simone?

I am moved by Beauty.

I have an eclectic taste in music, (but not so much the rap, hiphop or the new country) the music I love generates a response: makes me think or dance or create something else. It's especially taking up space as I travel across this humongous country. I especially loved Café Del Mar 2 in Northern Ontario. I love all my instrumental records which I lay out across the living room floor and look at while listening to them. I give praise to Herb Alpert.

Spontaneous living room dance parties are pretty bitchin'.

I enjoy good, fine food and trying out new restaurants. Fine company makes it so much better.
I love Ethiopian food because you eat it with your friends, with your hands, in one big dish.
I love Asian food for the veggies.
In Van, I will eat all the sushi.
The six things I could never do without
Laughing.
Travelling- inward and out.
Kissing.
Being able to see.
My mom and my bloodline. (And if no one's counting I'd also add my records.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I over think. Ugh.
On a typical Friday night I am
I rarely have typical Friday nights...
I'm self employed, Friday night can be any night really.
These days, it's by a fire, or at a dance show, or with my nose in a map planning my next move.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't think so. We've just met.
You should message me if
You should message if you're not afraid of a strong woman who is larger than life and still finds wonder in the world.
