My self-summary
I used to have a nice long intro but I don't think it did a great job of showing who I was. All you really need to know about me to get a fair idea of who I am is that I like books, movies, football, the Cubs, and science. Not necessarily in that order. Oh, and I'm really tall.
What I’m doing with my life
I used too work at Wallyworld, which has given me a lifetime sympathy for all retail workers, nowadays I work at the South Bend Medical Foundation.
I’m really good at
Being a giant nerd, mostly. Also reaching things up high.
The first things people usually notice about me
I would like to say all kinds of neat things here, but lets be honest, I'm 6'6", that's what people notice. Or the nerdy shirt I'm wearing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I can't tell you any favorite books, I just read too much for that, but some of my favorite authors are Terry Pratchett, Isaac Asimov, Harry Turtledove, Robert Heinlein, and Arthur C. Clarke. Oh, and J.K. Rowling.

For movies, I'm big into sci-fi and fantasy, though I also love comedies and horror. Favorite all time is either Jurassic Park or the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

I'm pretty broad in terms of music that I like, favorite band is Metallica, but I also like Frank Sinatra, the Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Elvis Presley, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and most 80's metal bands. Flogging Molly is another favorite.

Cheeseburgers and pizza are life.
Six things I could never do without
ND Football.
Ok, and my cell phone, because who even has a home phone anymore?
I would say my cat, but he's an asshole about 20% of the time. I plan to get a dog in the near future, so that will probably be part of this list.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
People who are WRONG ON THE INTERNET. Facebook is either best or worst invention ever.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably either hanging out with friends, or at home reading a book. (Hint, its the second one)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I really, really suck at small talk. Like seriously, its awkward and horrible. I have no idea why.
You should message me if
I dunno... you want too? Does anyone even read this far down? If you do, let me know.
