My self-summary
So here is where we are supposed to sell ourselves.
Nah, too honest to be a salesman. I don't have a ton of
photos and many of them have other people in them.
What you see are from photos friends took when I was by
myself, usually at Halloween and the like.

If you're interested, say hello, I'm often too shy, at least off the
dance floor.

I'm intelligent, honest and usually direct, often too much so.
I'm very much a live and let live type person for the most part,
but I will not let myself get walked all over.
My friends think I'm a bit of a diamond in the rough, but that I'm the guy to go to when they need to a helping hand or need someone to bounce ideas off of.

If I visited your profile and you are wondering why I did not
message, it could be for a number of reasons.

I appear to not be who you are looking for. If, for instance, your profile says you are looking only for a person who is far younger than I am, is way taller, etc. then I will likely not send a message since I respect each persons preferences.

Or, you might have a belief system or philosophy that I think might clash with my own and I really don't want to be that guy that wants to try to change you. Again, simple respect.

I might, however, rate you highly or save your profile if I'm interested. If you do the same I will take the hint and contact you at that point.
What I’m doing with my life
I work as a computer programmer for a non-profit that is now part of USC. I get to do work I feel good about and still get well paid.
I’m really good at
I've been told I'm pretty fun to dance with.

Hugs (There is nothing like a hug at the right time and place).
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm definitely a bit different. :-)
I guess it would depend where and when they encounter me.

Actually, not quite sure what they notice first.
I guess you can tell me when we meet. ;-)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favorite Books:
I'm constantly reading, usually sci-fi or fantasy, but occasionally
I come across a great book like "Five Equations that changed the world." or "Blink".

Favorite Movies:
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
Star Wars (original three)
Star Trek II, Wrath of Khan
The Princess Bride.
Ground Hog Day.
and many more.

Favorite TV:
How I met your mother.
Big Bang Theory
South Park.
Family guy.
The Simpsons.
Battle Star Galactica (fond of the original, loved the last, hated 1980)
Red Dwarf

Favorite Comedians (Including, but not limited to):
Robin Williams, Richard Pryor, Chris Rock, George Carlin and Margaret Cho.

Favorite Music:
The Beatles. Jazz, Rock, and Classical, especially fast paced like Tchaikovsky. I'll listen to most music, but I'm not too fond of manufactured music. Strangely enough, I still like The Monkeys. (The first "insta-band".)

In the words of the late great Sam Kinison. "Rap Sucks!"
(OK, OK, I actually like some of the old school rap like "funky cold medina")

Favorite Food:
I tend to prefer simpler food most of the time.
On a typical Friday night I am
Dancing, usually at a blues dance venue.
You should message me if
If you think we might have some fun together.
If you want to dance the blues.
If you want a partner in life.
If you like what you see/read. :-)
