I love to explore and try out new things; I also enjoy a good movie or great book. I’m a bit quirky but also fairly solemn and introspective at times. I can be outgoing and enjoy connecting with people, or be perfectly comfortable hanging on my own.
Some things I enjoy doing – travel, hiking, plays, riding my motorcycle, baking, bible studies with friends, and lots and lots of reading. I am always interested in learning something new, and am a fairly curious person in general.
Some of my favorite things!
My dog, Bingley
Hamilton the musical
Powells, City of Books
Optimism (think Leslie Knope, here!)
Last awesome book I read – Bellwether by Connie Willis
Last amazing movie I saw – Mad Max – Fury Road (Although Zootopia was a closer runner-up!)
Current favorite quote – “If you’re sad, add more lipstick and attack.” ~ Coco Chanel
Some of my not-so-favorite things!
Rain. All the time.
Going through security at the airport
I am not really a career person -- my focus is more on experiences and relationships.
Movies – Anything from Gladiator to Four Feathers to Batman Begins to Psych to Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Shows – Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica, Monk, Veronica Mars
A few of my favorite songs – Arms by Christina Perri; Brave by Sara Barielles; The World Was Wide Enough (Hamilton); Hello, My Name Is by Matthew West; On Top of the World (Imagine Dragons)
Food – I’m into the sweets! One of my favorite Seattle memories involved creating a Cupcake Crawl with a friend! I’m a fairly hearty eater overall, and enjoy a good home-cooked meal.
