My self-summary
I would say I'm passionate about making the most of life!

I love to explore and try out new things; I also enjoy a good movie or great book. I’m a bit quirky but also fairly solemn and introspective at times. I can be outgoing and enjoy connecting with people, or be perfectly comfortable hanging on my own.

Some things I enjoy doing – travel, hiking, plays, riding my motorcycle, baking, bible studies with friends, and lots and lots of reading. I am always interested in learning something new, and am a fairly curious person in general.

Some of my favorite things!
My dog, Bingley
Hamilton the musical
Long walks
Powells, City of Books
People watching
Optimism (think Leslie Knope, here!)

Last awesome book I read – Bellwether by Connie Willis
Last amazing movie I saw – Mad Max – Fury Road (Although Zootopia was a closer runner-up!)
Current favorite quote – “If you’re sad, add more lipstick and attack.” ~ Coco Chanel

Some of my not-so-favorite things!
Rain. All the time.
Going through security at the airport
What I’m doing with my life
I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do with my life, but after several attempts, I graduated with a Bachelor's in English. Currently I work for the family business.

I am not really a career person -- my focus is more on experiences and relationships.
I’m really good at
Being interested in just about anything. I've got a lot to learn and am excited to continue growing, learning and exploring more of this amazing world!
The first things people usually notice about me
I talk kinda fast - I try to slow this down when I remember, but don't always catch myself! I have a lot of energy and that generally comes across as well!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
There really isn't anything I don't like for any of these categories. I will give just about anything a try – except for horror or French films.

Movies – Anything from Gladiator to Four Feathers to Batman Begins to Psych to Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Shows – Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica, Monk, Veronica Mars
A few of my favorite songs – Arms by Christina Perri; Brave by Sara Barielles; The World Was Wide Enough (Hamilton); Hello, My Name Is by Matthew West; On Top of the World (Imagine Dragons)
Food – I’m into the sweets! One of my favorite Seattle memories involved creating a Cupcake Crawl with a friend! I’m a fairly hearty eater overall, and enjoy a good home-cooked meal.
Six things I could never do without
-God, and the knowledge that he is good (Romans 12:2), faithful (Romans 8:38-39), and unchanging (Numbers 23:19)
-Family & friends
-Wind, weather, and changing seasons
-Sugar...in some form or another
I spend a lot of time thinking about
-Who God is and what His will is for me
-What can I do to contribute to this life
-Libraries are awesome, and Ben Franklin really hit a home run there.
-Does it really need to rain so much in Washington?
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with friends by either making dinner and watching a good movie or going out and trying something new.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I tend to be a bit reserved on first meeting new people, but I open up quickly when I feel someone wants to get to know me!
You should message me if
You're a Christian guy who's willing to admit he's not quite perfect and wants to grow in his faith! ....And you'd also like to see the world, have adventures, read awesome books, volunteer for good causes, try sushi, etc.
