My self-summary
I'm the proper blend of outdoor manly ruggedness and charismatic host of my indoor domain. I'm always looking to the horizon to see what's next, even if it takes me a moment to wonder what it is that I'm pursuing.
What I’m doing with my life
Ramping up to do good things. I'm going back the wide world of computers to obtain a security plus certification. Yay ethical hacking! I'm also seeking more friends since I've come to the realization that I've lived too long around those that don't want to squeeze all the great things out of this life.
I’m really good at
Making people feel at ease because of many topics and subjects I can talk about, playing board/card games, and organizing an outing with friends (assuming I have enough people). I'm also great at always having a topic which to have a conversation about. Though they might be heavily salted with nerd topics, slight sport references, or random happenstances of the world through trivia.
The first things people usually notice about me
If you lay eyes upon me, it's my beard and general stockiness. People see me and think of grizzly bears. However, if we're in the same room with loads if other people, it will more than likely be my larger than life attitude that bleeds into the volume of my voice.
TL;DR = I'm a boisterous, scruffy-looking Nerf herder.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books; The Dresden Files are top rank. Followed by Iron Druid Chronicles, Sherlock chronicles, any classics (like Tuesdays with Morrie. Flowers for Algernon), and plays (Shakespeare and the like).

Movies are always in flux, but The Fifth Element usually floats to the top.

Shows that I like are mostly the current ones that are on T.V. and deal with nerdiness, friends hanging out, or zombies.

I love eating food, and preparing food. Favorite stuff is usually something with pasta, fresh spinach leaves, and eggs in one format or another.
Six things I could never do without
God, who gives me faith.
Faith, which leads the direction.
Direction, that guides me to ambition.
Ambition, which grows my desire.
Desire, that ignites a strength.
Strength, which makes me whole.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Fancy words, their meaning in society, and where they came from. If not that, then the "why's" and "how's" of people.
On a typical Friday night I am
Cooking a new recipe I scoured from the vastness if the internet, getting around to throw down with some friends in town (board games, not a fight club), or seeking an opportunity to try and have an experience with someone (even if it's just going to a restaurant , if it's someone new it will still count as an experience in my book).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've seen at least one episode of my little pony, and I thought it was cute. (I lost points off my man card, but I already paid them to my best friend).
You should message me if
Think my choice of words, in their subtle configuration, inspire thoughts of adventure! Or at least the desire to cause a little ruckus somewhere.
