My self-summary
A biology graduate who spends his spare time doing creative things like writing, drawing and putting on plays. This mix of science and creativity pretty much sums me up.
I like watching nature documentaries but I also love going to the cinema/theatre.
Part of me wants to be the next David Attenborough, the other wants to write movies.
I also act (as well as every other possible theatre role) and enjoy that immensely, along with reading.

If this is kinda vague, message me for a less rambly conversation.
What I’m doing with my life
Studying for a Masters' in Animal Behaviour at Newcastle University.
I’m really good at
Thinking of an idea for a story, plotting it all out, writing about a quarter of it.... and having an idea for something else!

Putting way too much thought into what I name my characters.

Having gravity-defying hair.
The first things people usually notice about me
At any given moment, the chance that my hair is doing something ridiculous (and often amazing) is close to 100%.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Some of my favourite movies include The Prestige, O Brother Where Art Thou? and Iron Man. I like most genres from drama to comedy to horror as long as there's an interesting plot and engaging characters.

My favourite TV show is Lost. Say what you like about it being confusing and convoluted, I think it's brilliant! Other shows I like include Dexter, Game of Thrones, Sherlock and House.
On the comedy side of things I like How I Met Your Mother, Peep Show, Always Sunny and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
*Obligatory 'I like Breaking Bad' section.*

The Passage by Justin Cronin is an amazing epic and I totally recommend it. Other books I like include The Fault in our Stars, The Great Gatsby and most Sherlock Holmes stories.

Also love going to see plays: The Woman in Black, Les Miserables, Julius Caesar and Avenue Q are some I've loved in the past year.
The six things I could never do without

A good book

Pen and paper (for writing or drawing)

Obscure trivia

Friends, family, vague acquaintances

My glasses! (Damn you shortsightedness!)
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing *something* with friends. In playing games, out in a bar, at the cinema, it varies.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
On more than one occasion I've gone to the pub after a rehearsal and ordered a drink in the voice and mannerisms of the elderly king of France.

- Or if you're a creative type and want to bounce ideas around. I always get good ideas when talking about them with other people.
- Or for any other reasons you have. I like talking to people about things that entertain, so feel free to start a converation.
