My self-summary
From childhood's hour I have not been- As others were — I have not seen- As others saw — I could not bring- My passions from a common spring — From the same source I have not taken- My sorrow — I could not awaken- My heart to joy at the same tone — And all I lov'd — I lov'd alone — Then — in my childhood — in the dawn- Of a most stormy life — was drawn- From ev'ry depth of good and ill- The mystery which binds me still — From the torrent, or the fountain — From the red cliff of the mountain — From the sun that 'round me roll'd- In its autumn tint of gold — From the lightning in the sky- As it pass'd me flying by — From the thunder, and the storm — And the cloud that took the form- (When the rest of Heaven was blue)- Of a demon in my view — ~ Edgar Allan Poe.(sounds weird and pretentious, but I like it).

My name is Drew. I am a 35 year old career chef, and currently a home health care provider. I suppose that will tell you a bit about me but not the real me, just my age and what I do. As for who I really am. I have been many different people throughout the course of my life, and all of them only shades of the real me. Despite what anyone may think of me, I am good guy who is often misunderstood due to the unique way I express myself. I am fun, exciting, intelligent, dark, compassionate, and I believe in trying everything at least once. I value honesty, loyalty, and friendship above all other things. I have a personal code of conduct which I never break, for anyone. Considering that being said I am also one hell of a people person. I love life, to laugh, and explore all life has to offer. Due to my chaotic nature I tend to change from day to day. Consistency has never been one of my strong points. I am like a chameleon and can adapt whenever and wherever necessary. Like most people I have wants, needs, and desires, but unlike most I understand the differences between the three. I am not your typical guy and I have no desire to be.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently, I am a home healthcare provider for the elderly. It is really rewarding work, and I enjoy it a lot. The last few years have had a lots of ups and downs but I am finally starting to piece my life back together.
I’m really good at
Making obvious things really complicated.
Discovering new solutions to old problems.
Making random movie or pop culture quotes.
Seeing things in a new light.
Knowing what to say in uncomfortable situations.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes. Some people say that eyes are the gateway to the soul. I have been told that my eyes are either very beautiful or downright scary. More than a few people have referred to them as angelic. On the other hand more than a few people said they look hollow, like a serial killer's.

Lately I've found myself oddly drawn to the more techno radio songs. I feel both terrified and repulsed by this, but they are so good.
Six things I could never do without
My friends-(god how they irritate, annoy, and otherwise ruin your life, but what is life without friends?)
My family-the only ones I know I can count on at the end of the day.
A good book
My dog-(its name is Princess LuLu, but its gangsta name is LouDog).
Romance-(a lost art, damn that sounds very non masculine, but its true regardless).
Intelligent conversation-(I suppose what is considered intelligent nowadays is all relative).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Who, What, When, Where, and How. One of my biggest problems is that my mind is constant in overdrive. I tend to be either overally cerebral or emotional. I overthink most things. I love to ponder the great questions of human existence from what is the meaning of life down to what exactly the Colonel's 16 herbs and spices are(and one day, by god, I will know).
On a typical Friday night I am
There is no such thing as the typical Friday night in my world. If there was it would have to be hanging out with friends. Going to the movies. Figuring out something new and exciting to do.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I cried when Bambi's mom died.

I've seen all the Twilight movies in the theater on opening night(not by choice).

I bare a striking resemblance to an animated character, not telling which one.

I still have some of my old stuffed animals.

When I get depressed I go and hang out with a donkey(but he died just recently, so we are back to square one).

I have been called then human version of Google.

I base most of my adult concepts of female beauty on three women: Elvira Mistress of the Dark, The Baroness from GI Joe, and Miss Piggy(she was tough, passionate, and feminine).
