The guys I fall for are the unexpected: the ones who throw me off, challenge me, annoy me, make me want to be better and do better. I'm a sucker for witty banter, intellectual debates, romantic gestures, spontaneous trips... This is what too many romantic comedies will do to you.
I try not to take the whole internet dating thing too seriously and I'm happy to have fun and take things slow -- but I'm also realizing lately I'm at a point where I'd love to find a partner and try the whole settling down thing.
I'm a fairly serious pianist, a decent cook (went to culinary school in Italy a few years back) and a total foodie. I just started climbing (I'm still pretty bad at it), and I used to do a lot of CrossFit, though have fallen out of it recently.
I love exploring San Francisco and all it has to offer -- finding great restaurants, fun concerts, interesting street fairs -- though I'm equally happy at home with Netflix and Indian delivery...
Books: Favorite childhood book was The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Favorite recent book was Ready Player One.
TV: The West Wing (I was in an episode on season 4!), Please Like Me, Friday Night Lights, Chef's Table, Macgyver...
Food: I'll eat pretty much anything. I love trying new restaurants, and will happily blow money on a great meal. I'm always a sucker for a tasting menu, particularly if it comes with paired wines... I've also been trying to cook more recently.
