In other words, I've enjoyed visiting 4 or 5 continents in the past few years, and was only attacked by monkeys once. (Actually, "ambushed by monkeys" is more accurate - something that was simultaneously terrifying and impressive. I may have won the battle that day, but those monkeys won my respect). Though 2013 has (so far) been almost entirely NYC-based.
And I do fight crime, but strictly locally. After years of private practice as a lawyer (or "law-talking guy", as it's commonly known), I was very fortunate to be able to take a position as a state prosecutor last year. And I still pinch myself every time I say/type that.
In terms of adventures, that could be anything: skydiving, SCUBA diving, eating BBQ duck neck in Sunset Park, or watching a cool documentary about any of that. I try to be open to all experiences, because you never know what's going to be amazing unless you try it (within reason, of course).
Movies: this changes all the time. Some all time favs include Airplane!, Spinal Tap, and, of course, Godfather. Recently, very pleasantly surprised by how much I loved Funny People. And Scott Pilgrim vs. the World sort of spoke to me...
Shows: the usual everyone likes -- The Wire and Breaking Bad. Veep is quite amazing, too. Still love the weird comedies, like Children's Hospital and Burning Love.
Music: Total indie rock geek. Which means I can make the best playlists ever for any occasion. You're welcome, in advance.
Food: Anything weird, spicy, ethnic, fusion-y, and/or experimental. Treason is a cold boiled potato on a white china plate.
If you love knowledge and art, and aren't afraid to talk about it.
You love to travel and are open to new experiences.
You question why people like things, but are open to the possibility that they just do because its awesome.
Bonus points if you look cute rocking out.
