My self-summary
I'm awful at self summaries so here goes nothing.

Hey, I'm Brandon. I made this profile a while back for shits and giggles, and have maintained it on and off to varying degrees since.

I like all the standard nerd fare, such as music, movies, and video games. I am a nerdy gamer, and if you want to play games with me some time I would be more than willing. These days I am mainly on my PC and my PS4. I've also recently been branching into board games when I can get a group together, and magic cards. Can't say I am very good at either yet though! I'm always looking for more people to play games with.

If you really want to know more about me, the best thing to do is to just send me a message. You would be hard pressed to find a message I wouldn't respond to, since I am always open to conversation, so fire away.
What I’m doing with my life
Working as a receptionist at one of my local animal hospitals. I enjoy the job and the place that I work at, so for now my efforts are focused on being the best I can at my position.
I’m really good at
I'd say communication tends to be my strong suit, as I have always worked with customers/clients directly. I tend to be a fairly reserved person at first socially, but I enjoy working with clients and talking with people when I open up.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've had a number of people comment on my voice when I first speak to them, so I would say that. A number of clients of mine and coworkers have said I have a voice for radio. I don't know about that, but I'll take it as a compliment.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Movies: I'm terrible listing thing's like these, so I mainly group in favor of genres. I am open to most genres, although romance movies aren't my cup of tea.

TV: I tend to mainly sing the praises of Breaking Bad, as that show hooked me hard when it was airing. Other than that, I would say the same response to the movie question applies here. I dabble in anime as well, but I am picky about what I watch these days. Always open to suggestions!

Books: I like to read horror novels of questionable quality most of the time, although I also enjoy science literature. I will dabble in fantasy/sci-fi/etc if it catches my interest as well.

Music: Heavy metal and a few scattered rock bands here and there. I sometimes wish I was more diverse in my musical interests but what can I say, I like what I like.

Food: One of my big faults is that I am a fairly picky eater, and I guess you could call me a "meat and potatoes" kind of guy.

Games: I play a lot of games of various genres, so I tend to jump around a lot. Sports games don't really interest me, but aside from that I play basically anything else that looks fun/interesting/whatever.
Six things I could never do without
Saying I could never do without these things seems like a bit of a stretch, so how about we call this my list of "things I'd be pretty displeased if I didn't have them". Rolls right off the tongue right?

In no particular order:
-Friends & family
-Video games
-My pets, I can't imagine not having at least one
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What everyone else tends to think about. Life on a day to day scale mixed in with healthy doses of life on a larger scale, plus whatever else might be on my mind at that point in time.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably at work, but if it is one of my days off it basically depends if I ended up making plans or not. EXCITING.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm actually quite a sappy person, and some of my favorite moments are things like cuddling while watching movies/listening to music/playing games.

Of course that's not really a big secret, as I tend to be a fairly open person so I didn't really know what else to put here.
You should message me if
You have a good sense of humor, you wan't to talk about music/video games/ etc, or if you just want to have a conversation about whatever. The only messages I don't tend to appreciate are one word messages like "hello" and such.
