I still believe in love...
I was married for 23 years and we are still dear friends
I have two children, a 26 year old son and a 15 year old daughter, both from the same long marriage
I am a practicing psychotherapist and, in addition, I have taught meditation and consciousness retreats for over 30 years now
I value kindness and truth
I am generous in the way that I love
It's important to me to nurture our intimacy with frequent acts of appreciation
The most important thing for me in our relationship is the quality and depth of our connection on all levels: physical, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual.
The kind of man I am generally attracted to is intelligent, well-educated, successful in the outer world, dedicated in some way to making the world a better place, has some kind of spiritual practice, has done enough emotional work to be available for deep intimacy, loves to travel, has a sense of humor, and an erotic sensibility, is profoundly kind to others, and who cannot fathom a Trump presidency.
My vision for us:
We've gotten to the point in our lives where we've learned to let go of the small stuff. We spend most of our time feeling grateful for each other and the blessings in our lives. We've done enough inner contemplation and meditation to be mindful of how precious this one life is, and we tend to the things and people that are important to us. We laugh easily and frequently with each other. We value kindness, cherish each other, and seek to find ways to mindfully express that to each other often. We are comfortable being silent together, and often fall asleep with our toes curled around each other. We enjoy physical intimacy and make time for it. We are playful and mischievous, and when something needs to be discussed, we do so with respect, curiosity, and a genuine desire to understand each other.
We know that we are lucky beyond reason to have found each other and we care for that blessing daily.
