My self-summary
I'm nerdy and athletic. I like keeping my mind and body active. I head to Crossfit at least once a day and usually end up going for a trail run with a friend or the dog in the morning. In my free time I am generally watching a good TV show or more likely reading outside. I'm trying to get through my 'to read' pile and am always looking for good recommendations. I'm well educated (not just in school), curious, and enjoy hearing about other people's pasts and pursuits.

Born and raised in Marin, CA.

I love talking with other people about a wide range of topics. I am one of those people who knows a lot about a few things and a little about a lot of things.
What I’m doing with my life
Just moved to San Francisco (Castro) after spending the last seven years on the east coast going to university and then working at a boarding school as a chemistry teacher. Currently, I am working as a health care coordinatior at a residential facility. Trying to get back into the culture of the Bay Area and get involved where I can. I'm looking for new and fun people to hang out with, expand the friend network, and new places to go hang out.
The first things people usually notice about me
My height and my green eyes.

Music: Whatever is on the current playlist that I'm listening to in itunes. Mother Mother, Sleigh Bells, LCD Soundsystem, anything with/by Childish Gambino and Alphabeat are always solid choices. Also basically anything that is featured on the spotify playlists I'm following.

Food: Anything that is served at any restaurant or kitchen table. I especially like it when I can see the food being cooked--gives it that human-made feeling.
Six things I could never do without
Great stories
Na+/K+ pumps
Sunlight, oxygen, water, food, etc.
Books (being of course a biological luxury)
A passion and talent to pursue.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Chemistry, health care, or I'm still thinking about whatever I just read.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either cooking dinner with friends, grabbing drinks and heading out with people, or heading to a movie released four weeks ago (to avoid the crowds). Sometimes I will stay in and read but only after a particularly rough week.
You should message me if
you're interested in having a good conversation over some coffee, food, or a drink.
