My self-summary
young yet mature masculine CO Native, Lovin' life back here in Denver, after moving back from Chicago - I don't ever want to go back to a winter there. Can't wait for it to be summer especially for some hiking/camping and hanging in the sun. I enjoy music, usually shared with friends over a BBQ in my yard, and some wine. love taking some scenic mountain drives, exploring CO all over again, but also like exploring new cities and visiting favorites like Seattle, Chicago, San Diego. Definitely breaking the stereotype, as I don't mind working on my car, digging in dirt for my garden and getting up to the mountains for some hiking and boarding.
What I’m doing with my life
Personally - trying everyday to do one thing better, and be the best damned uncle I can be to my little nephew.

professionally - working towards that next big goal - always. Be it recipe development, or hosting a wine dinner, always trying to work on and learn something in the process. I've achieved my goal of Executive Chef, and recently left the corporate monkey business. I am currently developing a great local concept for multiple CO locations as well as preparations for national expansion.
I’m really good at
getting groups of friends together, throwing a quick dinner party together and keeping everyone entertained. Known to be the "storyteller" and also the organizer for the next big adventure...
Love to teach, something that I was doing for a while at work but never felt it again til recently, seeing the results of teaching someone to cook using a certain technique and then seeing them use it later is such an awesome feeling. I'm an avid gardener and have the green thumb out of my family and circle of friends, can't wait to start picking all the veggies that have grown in the garden.
The first things people usually notice about me
usually my smile....
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love food for sure, the books I choose most recently are about food ( food science, recipes, new cuisines), though I do read stuff by Christopher Rice and a few other authors.

Music - widely varied, live music or DJs I like it all, Grew up listening to Oldies and Country, so I sometimes sneak in a song or two and I can pretty much associate it with a great memory. found some bands through some friends such as the XX, fun, Atlas Genius, Phoenix etc.
Six things I could never do without
my home kitchen (including my knives), music, friends, wine, some good green chili, and some good company
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What restaurants to try, both old favorites and which new ones to hit up. How can I use more local ingredients at work and at home. What would make a great road trip, so I can do one before the end of the summer.
On a typical Friday night I am
Well the social calendar has changed since leaving the corporate world - and still adjusting to having most of my evenings free now. While I still stay busy making people feel special at my restaurant. I love what I do, wherever that is. To enjoy my "Friday" it's typically a fun dinner with friends , a cocktail and conversation. Not much of a rager, though can't say I'm completely exempt from that, I stray once in a while, though it's been a long while......
