My self-summary
I'm not online that often, but I do get message notifications. So if you're curious, don't be shy and say 'Hi'.

After milling about on this dating site for a while here are some of my thoughts and conclusions in song. Because everything sounds more clear when put to a good tune.

My perspective on the insanity that is (online) dating:

What I'm looking for:
Yes, it needs a gender flip, but who cares. It's still an awesome song.

Something to keep in mind:
What I’m doing with my life
Working as a designer at an e-learning company. In my spare time I keep myself busy going out with a friend or diving into way too many creative pursuits. My apartment is half living space, half workshop.
I’m really good at
enthusiastically embarking on way more projects than I can reasonably manage. And then procrastinating about what to do first.
The first things people usually notice about me that they don't. I have the uncanny ability to walk up to someone and stand near them for 5 minutes or so before they notice I'm there. This can be especially interesting when I have my camera armed and ready.

And in case my career as a designer fails completely I could always sign up for a good assassins guild.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I listen to a variety of music, mostly melodic / theatrical with a rocky influence. Whenever I'm awake I usually have a Youtube playlist running. I listen what I like and sometimes discover new things that way.
A random selection of music I like: Mozart, Grieg, Muse, The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, Sabaton, Volbeat, Mumford and Sons, Regina Spektor, Dresden Dolls, Susumu Hirasawa, a variety of anime and film music. And the list goes on.

I enjoy books/movies/series that are fantastical (fantasy, SF) although I'll neither shy away from a good period drama. I mostly have favorite writers/directors whose style I like.
Neil Gaiman - American Gods, The Graveyard Book, Stardust
Tim Burton - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Sweeney Todd
Hayao Miyazaki - Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle
Joss Whedon - Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, The Dollhouse.
The six things I could never do without
lots of paint
good food
...and oxygen
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What's with all these women calling themselves '...thecat' ?! Can someone please explain this to me?

Is it a means to express you are
a. cute and fluffy
b. like to be stroked
c. just have a catty personality
On a typical Friday night I am
Enjoying a movie, playing a game, hobbying/crafting or hanging out with friends. It varies depending on which opportunities present themselves.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
is that I would love to own a private spaceship. Not just a clunky shuttle, but one of those Star Trek designs. ...A small one.

- you're interested in art, design, fantasy, SF and/or games.
- you're open to let it grow into more than 'just friends'.
- If you dare to take initiative.
