My self-summary
Trying to find a way to say that I am different without using those words...

I like what I like. I am not a fan of beer but have been known to drink it. Put me in a group of good friends and I can drop it like it's hot. My actions may seem wierd to others but I never do anything that I find embarrassing, which isn't a whole lot. I enjoy building things from LEGO to IKEA furniture to non-IKEA furniture? I'm respectful and sometimes have an odd choice of words. Preparing/grilling burgers and making special mini-donuts are a specialty.

Originally I am from VA but bad past roommate forced me to take refugee with a now ex-coworker and her two cats in her townhouse. I am up for just about anything except marathons, not even going to try and pretend that is my thing.
What I’m doing with my life
I've worked in radio for 7+ years. Been running a MeetUp group and helping a few people with websites but now hoping to start my own small fun projects on the side. All this while trying to live life and keeping fun, active, and good people by my side.

"It is not about forcing happiness, it is about not letting sadness win."
I’m really good at
Using the Oxford comma.
The first things people usually notice about me

Otherwise I am told I am very comfy and have super soft hair. Recently a girl kept calling me nice, so there is that.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Not a big reader but I think I prefer sci-fi based on some of my favorites like Ender's Game and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. And I am definitely calling The Walking Dead a book since the graphic novel is 2038x better than that awful show.

Movies: I hear I am a big movie guy because I watch most anything and everything. Not a fan of really slow dramas (I fell asleep twice during Lincoln) unless they are very interesting. The Fifth Element, Aliens, Star Wars, The World's End, Grandma's Boy, Real Steel, John Carter, The Hobbit, Shaun of the Dead, Dark Skies, etc.

Shows: I do the Netflix thing so that leaves me with greats like Venture Brothers, HIMYM, Battlestar Galactica, Better Off Ted, Todd and the Book of Pure Evil, The IT Crowd, The Big Bang Theory, and many more.

Music: I can tolerate all kinds of music and have to with country but not everything enters my iPhone. Glassjaw, The Wonder Years, The Devil Wears Prada, and she for example

Food: Mainly meat eater but I like to try new things when I go out to restaurants and not just order the same thing over and over. But if you need a list: wings, pasta, rice, pizza, seafood.

Video games: They are fun. If you think it is only for immature people then you are probably crazy to write off a multi-billion dollar industry (that fully paid for vacation trips for me in the past). Resident Evil 4, SpecOps: The Line, ZombiU, Demon's Souls, Luigi's Mansion, NintendoLand.

Board games: Got into these a few years ago and try to test them all out. Always up for rolling some dice...few exampls: Zombicide, Seasons, Stone Age, Ticket to Ride, King of Tokyo.
The six things I could never do without
This is where I insert something witty about organs or air or something, right?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
what's next.

But the idea of (space) exploration and new ideas tends to be on my mind more often than not.
On a typical Friday night I am
you tell me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
II like Awkward. Amazon Prime advertised it and I tried it and my inner teenage girl came out and got hooked.

I feel like I should be ashamed or I shouldn't be allowed to admit that I like boobs. Why is that such a crime?
You should message me if
You are a hot towel, fresh out of the dryer.
