My self-summary
I strive to live a life of balance, karma, and reverence for the living world. I love nature (rivers, trees, mountains, beaches, waterfalls, animals - especially birds, flowers, everything with a soul and beauty). I enjoy learning about different cultures and history, trying new foods, enjoying all forms of art (books, music, film, visual arts), yoga/meditation, and to expand my knowledge in all directions. I travel often to distant lands - love exploration of the world. I believe in hard work and respect, and generally try to live a more relaxed sort of life, eat and drink well, try to stay healthy and enrich my wisdom. Even if life is difficult sometimes I try my best to take a positive outlook. Although I enjoy the party life from time to time, I'd say peace and relaxation and good vibrations are most attractive to me. I love the sophistication of city life but my soul is very much at peace in the magical nature places.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a Bali based New Yorker. Here in Bali now until end of 2016 then I go to India for a while (Kolkata, Mumbai, Kerala). Generally I travel far and often, but am usually enjoying life on the beautiful island of Bali, Indonesia - a center of nature, meditation, yoga and spiritual, cultural things. I am the owner of several art galleries and clothing boutiques on Bali (selling Tibetan Sacred Arts and Organic Cotton + Bamboo Yogawear). I work hard at it, but I never lose sight of my passions: travel (seeking out nature, culture, art, and delicious foods - across the world), writing (I love to write fiction), and just being surrounded by the energy of love.
I’m really good at
Writing, Conversation, Story Telling, Roller Hockey, Frisbee, Swimming, Photography, Cooking, Bird Watching, Snorkeling/Diving, Jungle Trekking, Yoga postures.
The first things people usually notice about me
The color of my eyes (changes with the light and natural surroundings - can be either green, grey, or blue), gentle smile, warm energy, and inner joy. Enthusiasm for life and varied passions.

Six things I could never do without
Attachment is the root cause of suffering :)

(2nd Noble Truth of the Buddha)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Who are we as human beings and what are we here for on this planet Earth? What is out there beyond the stars? Planning and dreaming about my next travel adventures. The elegance, magic, and mysterious nature of birds and animals of the forest. On a serious note: how can the world be so filled with beauty and horror at the same time? I think a lot about balance.
On a typical Friday night I am
I could be relaxing at home for movie night and a glass of red wine. Could be out at some sort of cultural event or concert. Could be chillin' somewhere with friends. Could be getting ready to hop on a plane and go somewhere cool. It all depends. I guess this can fit for any day of the week - everyday can be wonderful.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I consider myself a mix of Han Solo + Indiana Jones :)
