My self-summary
I was thinking that if opposites attract, I should be dating a gorgeous, atheist, billionaire supermodel that has a loving and perfect family.

But really, I'm just searching for searching for an amazing girl to settle down with. I am comfortable being single, but at the same time I'm always on the lookout for my better half. I'm drawn towards a confident partner who exhibits a personality that complements mine, perhaps by combatting some of my introverted tendencies. She has to be able to laugh with me (or at least bear my dry and corny sense of humor), but I also want someone capable of sharing deep and serious moments. My faith is important to me and I hope that she reflects similar values.

I can very easily be convinced to accompany you swing dancing, biking down the canal, or relaxing and watching a movie. You won't find me glued to the game controller; there is so much more to life than electronic gizmos, even though I appreciate them and use them. I'd much rather spend some quality time with those important to me. I would love to explore together, either by, going on an adventure, trying out a new restaurant or scoping out some interesting destination.

My faith is very central to how I live out my life and you will find that I am very active in my faith community. Often, I can be found contributing my amateur musical abilities or technical services to some faith based organization.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a hobbyist; coins, antique cars, vintige toy trains, and computers fascinate me. I'm a do-it-yourself kind of guy who can often be found fixing or altering something around the house. Do not fret, I'm not looking for my partner to necessairly be interested in those hobbies. And yes, I do blanace those mostly introverted activities out with hosting family and friends over for dinner and fellowship. What ever the occasion, great laughs will be had around the dinner table, fireplace, movie, or game board!

Then there is the professional side where I strive to remain on the salary continuation program.
I’m really good at
Cooking Italian, Chicken, and breakfast foods with out sending the cook or dinner guests to the ER.
The first things people usually notice about me
After a little while, many people notice that I'm not representative of my generation, but more of that of an early baby boomer that has somehow been time shifted a couple of decades and knows how to have timeless fun. My hobbies are similar to those your grandfather likely held, filling my house with many interesting vintage trinkets that make for numerous conversation pieces.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
A tasteful comedy, drama or suspense is so much more fulfilling than most Si-Fi and strictly action/explosion based movies. Throw in a movie and someone to snuggle up with and I'll be as happy as a clam.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I once tried to impress a girl by bringing her a cup of her favorite coffee. While I don't drink coffee, I thought this would be a very simple and effective task. She had mentioned at one point that she really liked pilattes. So what do I do? I go to the coffee shop and try to order a pilatte. It didn't work out so well. Turns out she was referring to a stretching exercise, pilates. Oh the humanity!
You should message me if
you would love to go out for an evening of Improv Comedy and Coffee, go for a ride in a Fire Truck and get some ice cream or hit up a local event!
