My self-summary
I'm a 20 something clinging to youth with both hands. Currently working in the thrilling world of IT/systems in the beauty industry to pay the bills. Movie buff, blogger, writer and day dreamer. I'm usually quiet at first but much louder over time. I enjoy karaoke as well as live comedy, live music and being terrible at karaoke.

I'm a modern day nerd, I love anything tech and especially all things Apple. Don't judge me I'm not a complete fangirl, only during the live events where they serve the nicest kool-aid. I often find myself enjoying photoshop, illustrator and other programs of that ilk but I don't get many opportunities to talk to other people who do so if you happen to know anything about it (or anything else I'm interested in) I will become VERY excited.

I love to laugh and I especially love making people laugh although often it's laughing at my clumsiness. I love a good pun.

I dabble in graphic design & web design in my spare time and I'm passionate about film making but unable to make a living out of either yet. I come from Essex but loved living in Greenwich while I studied. There is an unrelenting black hole in my heart for SE10. It's where I really grew up and learned key life skills like coconuts can be opened from a forth floor window and lifelong friendships can be formed over video games.

I love to cook, bake and I'm extremely passionate about coffee. Come at me cold brew lovers.

I want my next adventure to be the northern lights.

I am Funny, Bright, and Wide-eyed. I practise different forms of calligraphy and hand lettering on a weekly basis. I belong in the world to make beautiful things and to make things beautiful.
What I’m doing with my life
I currently work in an office further into Essex. I think it's the first time in my life I've commuted further out from London rather than further in.

My official title is Systems Technician, which is really a fancy way of saying I dabble in every system we use. I am lucky enough that my job, occasionally, affords me time to spend learning new things like SQL, VBA and JavaScript. I'm a work in progress.
I’m really good at
taking pictures, making cakes, being competitive and making coffee.
The first things people usually notice about me
Right now? It's probably that my glasses are held together by copious amounts of hot glue.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm horrible at this because in a effort to illustrate my varied taste I tend to create a never ending list. So I shall attempt to sum up.
Movies: I love horrors, zombies flicks, comedy and occasionally a rom com. Oh I also enjoy a good drama.
Music: I love a bit of indie, punk, rock, 80's, old skool cheese. I also have a soft spot for soul, motown and jazz. It speaks to me.
Books: I love reading so I'll give most a chance. I love classic romance, pride and prejudice and the like. I really enjoy funny writing and non fiction. I try not to read trashy celeb life stories, so I tend to stick to the autobiographies of comedians. My true loves will always be the Harry Potter books and some of my greatest memories are at the midnight book releases (and then staying up all night/day to read it in one sitting).
Food: I'm quite fussy about some things and then in some ways totally not. It's much easier to ask or find out at a later date. Although the influence of Tower Hamlets and some of my lovely work colleges has broadened my palette. When I have mentally prepared I love trying new food. Any Italian food will always win my heart.
The six things I could never do without
Music.
Coffee.
My phone.
The flower crown Snapchat filter.
My bed.
Netflix.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why Love Productions think taking GBBO to Channel 4 is a good idea.

I have an over active imagination so occasionally day dreaming is the norm. I love to people watch, observing other people is an art form and should be treated as such.

I also spend a lot of time thinking about my little projects. My life is a series of projects that consume me. I undertake a task, teach myself a skill and then move on. That's how, in the last few years, I've learnt everything from t-shirt printing to letterpress and everything in between. I especially love when something on Pinterest actually works.

Currently trying to learn Italian (secretly loves pasta and would quite like to be Italian but my heritage is actually as boring as runny mayonnaise).
On a typical Friday night I am
I'll take a bar or restaurant over a club any night of the week, maybe I really am getting old or maybe I just like to hear myself think.
You should message me if
you have news from John Connor, or if you would like to combine forces to find/build a flux capacitor.
