My self-summary
27 single lady, tired of being alone. Hopeless romantic. Would love to be romanced. I'm a young adult novelist, recently released my first novel on Barnes & Noble and Amazon.

I hate being cold, very strange for living in Eastern Washington. During the cold winter months, I prefer to wrapped up in a warm quilt with a good book and an endless supply of hot chocolate and marshmallows. Never one for coordination and balance, skiing and ice skating have never really been my forte. Give me a warm coat, a thick pair of pants, a well greased sled and a decent hill and I am all over it.

In the summer, I like picnics in the park or outdoor concerts and festivals. I am not big on camping unless it includes a camper/trailer/motorhome/cabin with running water. If not you will find me sleeping in the backseat of my car with the heater running! I like hiking and hanging out at the lake. I burn easily so I tend to limit my outdoor activities or make sure to have the highest protection sunblock available.

I am a self-proclaimed geek. I love Marvel comics, the Dark Knight, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and even Star Trek. I play video games, albeit not well and I will so kick your ass at Monopoly.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a nanny for now. I can't wait for the day when I can write full time. In addition to being a super awesome Nanny, I am the Wardrobe Mistress/Assistant to the Artistic Director for the Northwest Bellydance Company. Not a dancer myself but I'm getting there. I recently released my first novel for the Barnes & Noble and Amazon eReaders. Saving up to sell it in print form as well.
I’m really good at
Useless facts that no one really cares about. My catchphrase is "Don't ask how I know that, I just do." A lot of it comes from all the research I have to do for my writing. I'm constantly on Wikipedia and Google, researching and just reading random articles.
I love movies, especially Disney. There are very few Disney feature animation films that I haven't seen. I love superhero movies as well. Saw The Avengers at least five times in theatres and had it pre-ordered. I know I'll have to work the next morning but I will be at the midnight showings of Iron Man 3 and Star Trek: Into Darkness.
The first things people usually notice about me
I always have a book with me. Now that I have my Nook, I have more than one book on me all the times. The curse of being a writer I usually have a pen in my hair, behind my ear, in my pocket or several buried in my purse. I've had to cut back on my pen hoarding as the two year old I nanny for likes to dump my purse and I don't need to spend my day chasing him down to keep him from coloring on the walls.

The six things I could never do without
1. My phone. It has everything on it. Photos, music, Trivial Pursuit.
2. The Huffington Post/BBC News App.
3. My USB flash drive. Has all the drafts of my books on it.
4. Cable/Internet. Netflix is a blessing and a curse.
5. My family and friends.
6. The New Orleans Saints. You can move me to Washington State but you can't make me root for the Seahawks.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My book and the characters in them. A long car ride by myself will find me plotting what is going to happen next.
On a typical Friday night I am
Trying not to be a recluse. Mostly Friday nights are reserved for Temple but if service ends sooner I usually go to Applebees or Tomato Street for dessert.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I really want to be a mom.
