My self-summary
I am a creative type and been told I'm an archetypical Scorpio. I'm a 5 in the enneagram (if you know what that is). Though I've mellowed as I've lived through my share of humbling experiences. I am a parent and my kids are a priority but they are growing up and I feel like I'm ready to meet someone.
What I’m doing with my life
I have kids so that defines a lot of what I'm doing with my life. I am also a social entrepreneur and have been involved with founding and growing educational technology companies.

I am a musician and play several instruments, I write songs, record and perform. I am working towards my 10,000 hours of practice. What I lack in natural talent, I compensate for in grit.

I am also dedicated to my physical, mental and spiritual growth. I try to equal parts exercise, yoga and meditation.
I’m really good at
Skiing - you'll find me deep in the trees on my telemarks
Cooking - I love food. I love cooking it, and eating it. My pallet tends toward salty and savory.
Playing music - I may not be Jimmy Page or David Grisman, but I can hold my own on guitar and mandolin.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm not a mind reader.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books - I love great literary novels and I'm binge on series. Among my favorite authors Jonathan Franzen, Michael Chabon. I also am a political junkie and read lots of internet news, tweets, blogs, as well as history, and biographies.
Music.. well I play more music than I listen to but I love Miles, Monk, Mingus, Django, classic rock, hot string players..
Food... I am a foodie... in Boulder you'll see me at Oak, Salt, Sushi Tora, Amu, and my local joint - 4580.
Shows.. I love irreverent humor.
The six things I could never do without
my family and friends, good food, good wine, playing a lot of music, skiing and a being creatively inspired.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
raising well-adjusted children... how to be a better parent, how to grow spiritually, how to affect change, how to fix our broken planet and social structures, educational reform, and how to play the solo to Reeling in the Years on my mandolin - to name a few. Am I ADD?
On a typical Friday night I am
Friday nights I typically whipped from the week. I try and play music as much as possible. But honestly, most Fridays I prefer to unwind with a bottle of wine, and my guitar.
You should message me if
you like what you see. I am up for anything really.
