My self-summary
My friends would describe me as a very outgoing and witty person, but I can be quite shy when I first meet new people. I am a hard-working, dedicated, and driven in everything I do, but I try to not take myself too seriously.

Things I enjoy: hanging out with friends at a local bar, the casual game of miniature golf or bowling, going for a drive without a destination (love spontaneous adventures), doing nothing and just sitting on my couch watching a movie

I am a Boston sports fan and love to watch or go to games.

I can easily be convinced to try almost anything at least once, especially new restaurants.
What I’m doing with my life
I work at a local school where I taught middle school math for three years. I now work for the school network helping to oversee the curriculum and support teachers. I never imagined I would go into the field of education, but now I can't imagine doing anything else.
I’m really good at
making people laugh (often at my own expense), fixing random things, talking about theater or sports, making restaurant or bar recommendations, cooking homemade pizza
The first things people usually notice about me
My willingness to jump right in and help with anything (even something as small as offering to make copies for another teacher so they can leave early can make someone's day).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I read mostly non-fiction - love Jim Collins' books, anything by Malcolm Gladwell, The Smartest Kids in the World.

I eat all food. If I have to specify any top things it would probably be drunken noodles and creme brulee (certainly not together). Really though, all food.

Movies: Apollo 13, The Score, A Few Good Men, Remember the Titans, James Bond, Gladiator, Good Will Hunting

TV: NCIS, The Blacklist, Chicago Fire, Madam Secretary -- really anything that doesn't make me think too hard when I get home from work

Music: Bruce Springsteen is definitely my favorite artist (and Thunder Road is clearly his greatest song) followed by whatever country song is on the radio.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
where to go for dinner...the daily struggle

what a book on my life would read like -- my current thinking is that the chapters would alternate between reading like a sitcom and a drama (I'm pretty sure OKC would be a sitcom chapter...)

oh and also my job, the future, all those fun things
On a typical Friday night I am
usually hanging out with friends and going out to a bar for drinks right after work followed by heading home and falling asleep on my couch unless I have something specific to do - Saturday nights I tend to do a lot more.
