My self-summary
Well, let's see...I've always considered myself a pretty funny person, though I tend to have an offensive sense humor. I've gotten to a point in my life where I think that political correctness has no place in the halls of humor. Oh yeah, and I find farts and potty humor hilarious, though I know how juvenile they are.

I've been working in the mental health field for the past 8-9 years, primarily with adults living with severe, chronic mental illness, which is something that I have really loved doing. I now work at the local homeless services center providing triage services and various other forms of support for our homeless population. I have only been doing it since November 2014, so I am still learning about a lot of the services that are available, but the job has really challenged a lot of my preconceptions about homelessness; and if their's anything I love, it's having my preconceptions challenged!

I also love to consume and discuss media, especially movies, books, and video games.

So there!
What I’m doing with my life
While I am currently working as a case manager at the homeless services center, I do plan to go to graduate school sooner or later to get either a MFT or MSW. Ultimately, I would like to become a therapist of some sort, because I like to help people who have problems, but I want them to help themselves in the process.
I’m really good at
My job
Getting really excited by science!
Dressing sexy
Remembering trivial information about movies, The Simpsons (Only seasons 1-10), and other random garbage that I love.
The first things people usually notice about me
How tall I am; how green my eyes are if I'm wearing green; and how I have an almost orgasmic response to good food.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: 'Moby Dick' by Herman Melville; 'Native Son' by Richard Wright; 'Cannery Row' by John Steinbeck; The Silver Spoon cookbook.

Movies: 'Ikiru' by Akira Kurosawa; 'Silence of the Lambs' by Jonathan Demme; 'Genghis Blues' by Roko Belic; '3-Iron' by Kim Ki-Duk (also my favorite director); 'The Last Laugh' by F.W. Murnau;

Music: The Eels, Fun., Passion Pit, Hawaiian music, Bluegrass, 90's Alternative, Folk

TV Shows: South Park, Battlestar Galactica, Mystery Science Theater 3000, The Simpsons (Seasons 1-10, before it got shitty), The Daily Show, The Colbert Report

Food: I'm a big fan of food and there's not a whole lot that I won't eat. I especially love meat products and I have no qualms about eating things that are high in fat and cholesterol. While I consider myself to have a rather refined sense of taste, that does not mean that I don't enjoy the gastronomic pleasures of a Double Down Chicken Sandwich every once in a while.
Six things I could never do without
-A comfortable chair/couch
-Cherry Coke
-Good Scotch
-Good books
-Good movies
I spend a lot of time thinking about
-What am I doing with my life?
-Arguments that I might have with someone, or have already had and I want to fantasize about what I *should* have said that would've been AWESOME!!;
-and sex (deal with it!)
On a typical Friday night I am
Going to the movies with a friend.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Despite being more-or-less atheist, I still find myself thinking about God a lot. I don't really know why, but I'm okay with it.
You should message me if
You have no problem eating meat (I know that's weird to say, but I love food and I love experiencing it with other people and dietary restrictions impede that), no hang-ups about politically incorrect humor, or like to play video games (they're always more fun with another person)
