My self-summary
I'm a kind and active, healthy and fit guy with a zest for life!
What I’m doing with my life
Do you have a favorite place on the island to show me?

I love beauty, being active and kindness, with playful edges.

I am spending May on Maui before venturing to the mainland for summertime.

I am also at an exciting crossroads where it feels like I have the opportunity to create a lifestyle of abundance more on my own terms than before.
I dance passionately, and I love all conscious movement - whether a good long meditative swim, cycle, hike or yoga session. And yes, physical intimacy, yes indeed.
I love being creative with music and healing. And climbing trees when I get the chance.
I’m really good at
Finding solutions. Cooking. Using my body effectively. Teaching others to use their body effectively. Fixing things. Applied physics. Thinking (and doing) 'outside the box'. Shining metaphoric light so others can find their way more easily (as in sometimes personal coaching).
The first things people usually notice about me
My light energy and the way I can easily connect with people and make them feel seen. How fun I can be. My quirky sense of humour. Oh yeah, and the legs...there's the occasional comment about my legs. I love how well and the many wheres they have carried me thru all these years. And now they dance me, too.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Most memorable recent books -Musicophelia (a neurologist writes about music and the brain), The Brain That Changes Itself and One River -about how humans use plants in the Amazon. Kingsolver, (Animal Dreams, Prodigal Summer).

Words rock! Rumi, Hafiz, Rilke, EE Cummings. Italo Calvino. Dianne Ackerman. Naruda. Marge Piercey's 'Woman on the Edge of Time', and 'He, She and It'. Herland by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. Still curious why feminist utopian novels caught my attention for so long.

Music! Anything I can harmonize, jam with or dance to! Unusual time signatures and clever syncopation. I love the rich spaces between musical notes.
Sting, Joni Mitchell, Beatles. Chorale. Devotional. Tchaikovsky. 70s rock, Jazz (esp swing), tribal world beats that take my feet to frenzy.
If it has interesting melody, harmony, meaning, and rhythm, I will likely enjoy it.
My favourite songs as a kid were Debussy's "Claire de Lune" and Puff the Magic Dragon.

What dreams May Come, English Patient, Contact, Princess Bride, and I have a vintage DVD called 'Microcosmos' (bugs up very close!).

I really enjoy good food! Prefer local and organic. An excellent cook?
Six things I could never do without
Music & Dance.
Earthly & heavenly beauty.
Human ingenuity & touch
Sunshine & Bees.
How many things r that?
Human Ingenuity =/> a couple thousand
I spend a lot of time thinking about
If I've written too much in this profile.
On a typical Friday night I am
Not much 'typical'
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have allergies - if you have a dog that you share your bed with, we are definitely not a match, but good luck!
You should message me if
You like fun, poetic wordplay, music,
You accept and express yourself well, and listen effectively,
And if you can show up and fulfil at least some if not many of your commitments.
You are not a heavy commercial fragrance user
