My self-summary
I'm a student and straphanger (person who ride busses or subways all the time) from Seattle.

I spend way too much of my time obsessing about Bernie Sanders becoming president. Which is why I'm President of the Tritons for Bernie club.

I'm wonky, nerdy and have a grand (if kinda utopic) vision of of the human race's future.

I'm INTP for those who care.

The dogs belong to my roommates. (If you have no clue what I'm talking about look at the "My Details" section.)
What I’m doing with my life
I go to UC San Diego where I'm a Political Science major who is specializing in Public Policy.

I'm thinking about grad school in a couple years but I haven't figured out what I'm going to do with it. Public policy research is my top choice right now, but I could see myself as a diplomat, bureaucrat, or in academia.
I’m really good at
- Reading, I have great reading comprehension.
- Public speaking, which was hard won by experience.
- Googling, I have strong Google-fu which comes in handy at school.
- Arguing, I don't necessarily like formal debates, but I thrive in discussion.
- Speculation
The first things people usually notice about me
Perhaps that I'm tall. I don't usually ask people what they notice about me so I don't know what they notice first.

The six things I could never do without
- The internet. (I, like many, am kind of an addict.)
- A device to browse said internet.
- At least one interesting person to talk to, preferably several.
- A place to relax.
- Access to Books and Music
- Government (In an anarchy my most useful skill would be to start to form a government.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Philosophy, politics and economics. I especially love to guess what the future may hold for human societies. I have a blog about this stuff at http://astrosocialist.com/.

I'm pretty obsessed with Bernie Sanders' campaign right now.
On a typical Friday night I am
I typically spend my friday's browsing the internet, reading or watching shows on Netflix. However I do get out occasionally and go to a bar.

I recently finished Star Trek TNG and Gilmore Girls and have moved on to Deep Space 9 and Voyager.

I'm watching them according to the order on this site: http://thestartrekchronologyproject.blogspot.com/
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a serious fear of needles. Last time a person tried to give me a shot I fled the vicinity.

She should not have tried to be sneaky.
You should message me if
You are having a secular existential crisis.

I rarely see a girl make the first move and think it makes an interesting change of pace.

Also if you have any ideas about humanity's future I'd love to hear them.
