My self-summary
I've been back in Seattle for about three years now. I love it here where I can explore the cultural (and culinary) landscape of a rich urban environment as well as the natural treasures all around us. I love art and the outdoors, the city and wilderness, and pretty much everything on our Puget Sound.

I really like sharing the things that make this place so fun to be in. We have great food and great art. I love sharing thoughts on everything from the pop-up performance art we just saw to the anemones in the low tide. And while all this gushing over our Northwest home may seem a bit provincial, the one thing I like most of all is to travel.

And all those things I like best when I'm sharing the experiences with someone who enjoys them as much as I do.
What I’m doing with my life
I run a small software company. Also reconnecting with the local photographic community. And reintroducing myself to my hometown (and refurnishing my fabulous new apartment overlooking the Sound).
I’m really good at
My family and friends say I'm smart and funny. Can't you tell? Isn't this funny?

It makes up for my utter lack of photogenic-ness. Its a word.
The first things people usually notice about me
The white hair. They've been noticing that since I was 20 and started looking like a beagle.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love movies by the Coen brothers and David Lynch and some of the newer good TV shows like True Justice, Vice, Homeland, Americans, Inside Amy Schumer and Modern Family. I love dining out in Seattle and NYC.

Recent Books: Flash Boys, Blue Latitudes, Unfamiliar Fishes, Blink
The six things I could never do without
The pacific ocean nearby
Crows and seagulls. Don't know why, it just is.
Vichysoisse. (okay, potato-leek soup, but it's better if you say it in french)
Wine w. bubbles.
Laughing. Stephen Colbert style.
That look in someone's eyes when they light up with an idea.
Rocks from beaches far and wide
You should message me if
If the spirit moves you!
