I do love art and enjoy every artistic expression, but also like numbers and math. And to write letters in the classic way ("Carissima..."). When I am happy I dance and when with deep emotions, laugh or have some tears. I like to listen more than to talk. And cuddle and smile. And smile at children. And rains. In some situations I am an analytical and in other ones a goofy with a smile at face.
Some of my pleasures: reading, art, music, dancing, history, nature, Christmas, sleeping, and apples! (the fruit). Also to travel, poetry, kids, Broadway, financial markets, geopolitics, math, intellectual conversations, non intellectual conversations (yay!), animals, science, and philosophy. I would like to make yoga. I like to run too, but lately I only run when I am late.
Some of my non-pleasures: the sound of the alarm clock in the mornings. Or to find that my MetroCard is not available when my train is just around the corner.
I do love to learn. And believe in goodness, the beauty of the soul, moral values, dreams, innocence, family, friendship, and love.
I am learning to play piano (Tchaikovsky!) and some Russian alphabet and words. Привет!
- Listening to others
- Enjoying and sharing the Christmas Spirit
- Confusing the words "pull" and "push" at the doors (my face has suffered it sometimes)
- Making funny faces to kids
- Long conversations
- Sharing soul feelings
- Not taking me seriously
- Helping people and animals
- Laughing about myself
I do love books! Some: Peace and War, Anna Karenina, A Christmas Carol and others by Dickens, The Red and the Black by Stendhal, The Tim Drum (and others by Günter Grass), Madame Bovary, Hamlet, Rich Dad Poor Dad, Faust (and others by Goethe), Zadig, The Little Prince, Freakanomics, Los Rios Profundos, Quo Vadis, Doctor Zhivago, A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court and others by Twain, The Brothers Karamazov (and others by Dostoyevsky), 1984...
I watch little TV but when do it I like: The Big Bang Theory, The Simpsons, Downton Abbey (I have watched only few episodes but loved it), Two and a half men, Dragons' Den, History Channel.
And delicious food, of course.
- Dreaming, and learning new things
- Enjoying art
- Don't forget the child who is inside me
And last but not least:
- Apples (the fruit).
- How to make the world better with any activity I do
- How to make dreams come true
- What will there be beyond the horizon?
- How to cook faster (and better)
- I have some wild ideas that -I think- could impact positively to people in the world.
You do not care too much to meet someone who will confuse the pronunciation of some words sometimes! (but will make you laugh with them for sure).
