What I'm looking for in a relationship is really just someone to share life with; I'm a weird person who's trying find that unique someone whose weirdness matches up with my own. I'm happy going out, hanging out, staying in, or just being together doing nothing.
So, let me lay my cards out on the proverbial table. I'm completely Vanilla, I've got a bit of a pudge, I have some self-esteem issues, I don't think Chivalry is dead, and I am absolutely terrible at 'making the first move'. If all that is OK with you, then please keep reading.
I have an amazing job with Mad Science; Teaching Science of all types to kids in schools across L.A. and Ventura Counties (My Mad Scientist name is "Justin Time and Space").
When I'm not working, I'm either pursuing my joy of entertaining people and bringing smiles to their faces...or I'm doing some kind of geeky endeavor; whether it's Disneyland, Conventions, Cosplay Events, NERF Battles, Gaming, or an all-night session of D+D.
I'm also a pretty good singer/dancer/performer/improviser/voice actor/cuddler/empath/wizard/cleric/time lord/cook/trivia master/cat/dog/benevolent overlord/etc.
I also look much younger than I really am.
Books - Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Comedy mosty. Some of my most enjoyable reads have been via Arthur C. Clarke, Stephen King, Michael Chrichton, Issac Asimov, Gregory Maguire, J.K. Rowling, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert. and Douglas Adams.
Movies - Hands down, my Favorite Movie of all time is 'American Beauty'; but do give me a good Animated Film or 'Geeky' Movie any day. However, you will be very hard pressed to get me to see any kind of Horror/Thriller/Gore/Disturbing/Shock movie.
TV Shows - I'm a Whovian, a Sherlockian, a Browncoat, a Trekkie (goes through list of membership cards) and so much more. If it's good and geeky, I'll watch it; If it's good and animated, I'll watch it for sure. If you mention it, chances are good that I've seen it, heard of it, or watched it in it's entirety. Probably, one of my favoritest shows of all time is Phineas and Ferb.
Music - I like pretty much everything EXCEPT Rap, Hip-Hop, R+B, Country, and Metal. I always love a good musical, and my mp3 collection is very eclectic (everything from Anime and Aquabats to Zeppelin and Zydeco). My Car radio is often tuned to KROQ, NPR, or Classical KUSC.
Food - My love of Cheese may actually border on addiction... and I absolutely love Seafood, Mexican, and Italian cooking.

I'm at the point in my life where I want to find that special someone and spend the rest of my life with them. I don't want to hurt anybody, nor do I want to be hurt; and I'm just as tired of the dating scene as you probably are. I wish it were just as simple as telling someone "Hey, I like you, let's go on a date".
So, I'll say this: If you've gotten this far, then there's probably something about me that you found interesting. If that is the case, then just send me a message. It doesn't have to be anything complex or eloquent, just a simple "hello" to begin a conversation. If you do that, then I'll know there's interest; not a date, and certainly not a commitment, but interest. We'll talk, we'll ask each other questions to get to know each other, we'll take it at whatever pace is comfortable for you.
I don't want to play games, I just want to meet someone that I can settle down with. This doesn't mean I'm looking for immediate marriage or kids (that all takes time), it just means I want to meet someone who's also in it for the long run. So, if you're interested, then just let me know. If a connection develops, then great; if not, then no harm, no foul, we move on.
With that said, I hope to hear from you soon :)
