My self-summary
I'm on that socially-adept dork tip. I'll play D&D without finding loopholes that make my character better than yours. I'll play Settlers of Catan and trade you the wood you need because who gives a shit. I'll even make small talk with people in the real world. Don't worry, I'll still rattle on about the latest dwarf fortress update.

I'm entirely non-religious and absolutely certain I don't want to reproduce. I'm happy to go through the motions.

I enjoy comics, webcomics, video games, and the internet. I'm a blacksmith and carpenter or woodworker depending on how fancy you wanna be. I've also created an impressive number of half-finished video games.

I'm a rug.
What I’m doing with my life
Like many young men of my generation, I'm hired professionally to smash ones and zeroes. I'm painfully aware of the divide between the tech and service industries and spend a lot of time thinking thoughts that would have labelled me a communist 40 years ago.
I’m really good at
Learning.
I pick things up quickly but my memory for dates/events/names is horrible. Horrible!
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm tall and gangly-lookin, I think people are afraid I'll fall on them.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Man I love some food. I've become very interested in baking over the last few years and spend a good amount of time making various kinds of bread and pasta. You want to watch The Great British Bake Off with me? Quiet, Paul Hollywood is about to say something condescending.
I prefer meals that are "put together", something with presentation and textural variety. I would eat a hamburger over a steak any day. Yeah, i know they taste good. Steak got no pickles.
I'm not much into seafood but am otherwise not picky.

When I'm working I usually listen to white noise, classical, or the Sim City soundtrack. It's relaxing, try it! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5GCoc893Vt8)

If I'm not working I'll either listen to an album I've heard 100 times or work through Spotify's "new releases" category. There are some real stinkers in there. Did you know country rap is a thing?! It's called Hick-Hop or Kuntry (gag). Look up "Big Smo", I can't bring myself to paste a link.
Six things I could never do without
I gave this one a lot of thought... I choose to sacrifice all six options to the almighty internet.

The internet: it turns out "everything" includes outliers.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Voting system reform. This one's not a joke.
On a typical Friday night I am
If I've gone out with friends I'm working to convince the group to get ice-cream or go somewhere that serves fries. No, not that place, those fries are soft and WEAK. Oh fine, they're better than nothing.

I may also be at home reading, working on a project, or playing some indie game designed specifically to frustrate me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My clothes don't fit. Oh right, I'm also open to dating all genders. I think that shows up in the profile description? I've been shy about most of my life but Seattle has really allowed me to become more public with it.
You should message me if
I'd love to talk to you, even if that's as far as it goes. Just say more than "sup".
