My self-summary
Oregon native but I grew up in the southwest. I returned almost 11 years ago and love being here almost every single day. I never really complain about the rain at all, but when the summer comes around, you'll find me loathing the amount of humidity - but it doesn't stop me from getting out and doing things.

I read a lot, spend time with friends, take road trips with my camera on the front seat; I love being out and about, but also love being around a fire pit with a handful of good people.

I've been known to randomly recite movie lines for any situation I might be in, or situations with friends. I have a lot of random knowledge stuck in my head; so much so, that I've been told I should be a contestant on some trivia show.
What I’m doing with my life
I have a career that I enjoy going to every morning; I'm lucky enough to work remotely, so I can work from my home office, atop Mt. Hood at the lodge, or even the outside deck of a pub, if I want to.

I'm in school again for another degree (Psychology) and will ultimately go for my masters degree in this field...so I'm in class a lot but I'm more than willing/happy to make time!

Outside of that, I write novels; I have one published and I'm working on another. I also have three more that are written but need editing. I spend free time doing whatever sounds good, be it a drive or time with friends.
I’m really good at
Realizing that FPS's really helped me prepare for the whole zombie apocalypse thing.

I'm into my career, I work on bettering myself and helping those around me, almost to a fault. I'll give you the shirt off my back, in the freezing rain while offering to buy you a pint of beer or a shot of whiskey to help keep you warm, if it would help you.

I'm great at enabling people to buy an additional cookie or brownie, or article of insert-item-here; One of my best friends told me that she should get a shirt that simply says "Enabler" or "Trust me, I'm an enabler" on it. So, there's also that.

I'm also good at:

Finding a great dive bar to have enormous amounts of tacos.
Finding an upscale, out of the way place to have dessert.
Finding an out of the way book to read that's awesome (Like "Go-Go Girls of the Apocalypse"...which is particularly hilarious)

I'm also good at calling people out on their BS, researching things, being informed, empathy, random useless trivia, random useless movie trivia, working on cars, building things, working on computers, being there for friends, listening, hearing, pets, taking care of myself, being an adult when it's needed.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have no idea really. I'm told that I look really intimidating, espcially since I shaved my head (Damn you, genetics!)...but I'm really just a big softie. I'm also told that my personality fills up a room.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Food (In order of favorites)-
TACO's...because they are their own goddamn food group ;)

My laptop, iPad, iPhone
My core group of friends
Furry, four legged friends

A fantastic getaway destination
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What if Netflix doubled as a dating site? You could get notifications, like, "Here are 9 single people in your area that just marathon watched Battlestar Galactica for 18 hours straight - Based on your viewing habits of Star Trek: TNG, Firefly, and Doctor Who, they might be the one!"

When will science actually be able to perform a full brain transplant from human to human? Seriously :)
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm either with friends catching a movie at the Laurelhurst or at someone's house...or in for a board game night, Netflix'ing movies, trying something new...there are also times where you will find me flying solo at the bookstore or out for a late night drive; perhaps even with friends having dinner.

Some people find it intimidating that I'm overly extroverted and that I'm out doing SOMETHING a lot, either by myself or with friends...that's mainly because I'm single; I like being out, but that doesn't mean I'm adverse to spending a nite in relaxing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
How I wish I had more people in my life that enjoyed camping.
You should message me if
I sound interesting and you want to take it slow, get a drink, and see if there's a mutual interest. I'm totally willing to meet in person if it seems we click after a few messages!
