I have a career in technology within online education that I really enjoy.
I have goals - I'm working towards a second degree in Psychology, I'm a writer trying to get published with three novels written, a novella and a bunch of short stories and I'm trying to lose more weight; I've lost about 120 pounds through working out at the gym and changing my lifestyle. I'm still a bigger guy, but working on it in the evenings after work.
I'm also a huge movie nerd...seriously. I have about 1200 discs and THEN access to Netflix; I even have an old school Laserdisc Player. Video gaming is a good pastime (for hand-eye coordination, of course) but it isn't an all encompassing thing for me, and reading is a must (if not a text book for class then something that holds my attention). I love getting out with my friends and being around town, or at a dive bar...there has to be a pool table for me to consider it a dive bar, or, sawdust and/or peanut shells on the floor. I love camping and being out in the forest also...I love getting away when I can.
I also spend time at the gym...not in a crazed gymrat kind of way; I'm a bigger guy, but I'm healthy...just trying to work out some of the kinks.
Writing - when I have a few hours to myself, I work on a new chapter for whichever book I'm writing.
I enjoy spending time with friends and doing my own thing, but, I'm at that point where I'd like to find someone - a best friend that could turn into something much more, which turns into long term, which turn into doing the whole family thing...

When will science actually be able to perform a full brain transplant from human to human? Seriously :)
Some people find it intimidating that I'm overly extroverted and that I'm out doing SOMETHING a lot, either by myself or with friends...that's mainly because I'm single; I like being out, but that doesn't mean I'm adverse to spending a nite in relaxing.
Also, if you just want a new friend to nerd and geek out with, then, that's cool too! I'm welcome to new friends.
