My self-summary
I'm Cody. I'll be the first to admit I'm not perfect. If that is what you're looking for well, you may be barking up the wrong tree. I prefer to keep life simple and enjoy the little things. People get caught up on the things, "there must haves in a partner." Mine are simple: do we make each other smile, do we both make each other laugh ( can't be one sided on this, sorry ), is there chemistry physically and mentally? Yes I know I just listed off "must haves" but these are relatively basic principles that I think all would agree are healthy stepping stones to a relationship to build upon. If you have at least that there's hope to build upon more. If you've made it this far, I guess I will tell you more. I love the outdoors and most of my work and outside of work is geared towards that. I acquired a Sprinter Van in 2016 just before I turned 30 to pursue more Adventuring because I was single and why not. My friends all thought I was crazy, now they love it. I love rafting, semi retired raft guide so I love going on trips. I really got into paddle boarding or SUP'n as I like to call it this year. I'm always down a camping/roadtrip adventure as long as it doesn't conflict with work because sadly adulting things must happen. I'm not much of bar fly. I rarely go out unless it is with friends for a drink or two. I prefer doing things outdoors or cookouts. I hope that description at least gets a discussion started for you because I rarely will message anyone first.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm fairly successful in the work that I do and working more towards other things these days like starting a business. That keeps me busy at times. I hope someday to find someone that can accept that about me and know that I will always try my best to be there.

Enjoying the little things like a bold, strong, robust, black coffee.
I’m really good at
word searches, Love'm

Growing a beard like it's my job, and business is good. Serious, people I know hate that I grow a beard that fast, and to such a quality. Same goes for my mustache growing ability. I grew one out for a wedding I was Best Man in. It was glorious, but only to be grown out for special occasions.

Being single? sarcasm, maybe?
The first things people usually notice about me
My semi good looks?
My beard.
Usually always wearing a hat.
Almost always wearing Chacos.
I was recently told that I have a "dad's body"
( That last one made me laugh actually. In college I got up to 300lbs. so my present weight is not perfect to me but, I'm working to be better )
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books:
The Big Tiny
Various books on Tiny Houses and building them. I am infatuated about the subject.
Business related books for starting and continued education.

Movies:
I grew up in the Midwest where that was a main form of entertainment besides work. So I love them, and there's too many to name. Basically any Comedy/Action Movies with Occasional Chick Flick. My movie collection is a bit ridiculous thanks to cheap black friday dollar deals.

TV Shows:
Netflix and DVR are amazing things. If you like The League on FX, you're awesome in my book. If you have never seen it, watch it, your life will be better for it. Most episodes, I am in tears from laughing. Other show I like to watch are Arrow, Flash, all the shows along those lines, The Blacklist, Westworld.

Music:
The answer would be, Yes and Please. Who doesn't like music? I will listen to any and every kind of music. Foo Fighters is and will most likely always be my favorite band.

Food:
I started cooking at the young age of four when my parents showed me how to make an egg in the microwave to fend for myself. It has evolved from there. I love to grill just about anything. Rare Steaks are my favorite. I have an obsession with carrots, cranberry juice, craisins, oyster crackers, and scooby do fruit snacks.
The six things I could never do without
1. Rafting
2. Sprinter Van
3. My Iphone, for it's music and alarm clock features.
4. My truck Frank, the Tacoma. It takes me places also.
5. My Best Friend back in Indiana and our conference calls.
6. Coffee. Because it's fantastic. It makes me my best me.

7. Could be you? In time you could take one of the top 6?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The little things. I feel people overlook these.

How to be a better critical thinker in all aspects of life. Looking at all sides of everyone involved before making a conclusion. I think the people that say/think they're the most empathetic lack in this and only doing a disservice to themselves.

Rafting and SUP'n and how these can be involved in my next trip.

My Future and what I need to do to get where I am wanting.

What I'm going to do on the weekend.

Why folks are awful at driving on I-25 south bound from Prospect exit down. Seriously. It chipping away at my soul. Apparently cruise control was and has never been taught in drivers ed?

When, where, and how I'm going to build my house tiny or not. But I will one day build a tiny house.
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing whatever i decide to do. Live in the moment sometime, you might enjoy it. Plans are cool sometimes too.

Depends on the time of year.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That there's nothing really I'm not willing to admit to.

I have grown pretty tame these last few years. I use to be known as "wild man." I enjoy my "cheap date" status aka lightweight drinker. Hott right? goes with my dad bod swimmingly. Unless on I'm on a raft trip...

I'm really bad about using my phone other than it's function as an alarm clock. I'd rather just have that person find me and be like "what's up." I know so 1990's.

I'm hard of hearing but not to be confused for my sometimes selective hearing.

I'm the indirect cause of the "Boom Goes the Dynamite" news guy being famous. Seriously, I convinced the regular reporter to go get drunk with me and call in. You're welcome. True Story
You should message me if
You want to and actually want to meet me in person or interested in getting to know me with the intentions of actually meeting.

If someone says "hey let's grab a beer and coffee at such and such time and place" and at least says something funny or seems intriguing, if I'm free. I would be game. Even if that is just because they want someone cool to meet with no intentions other than that. Just say so. I like stimulating conversations of all variety.
