My self-summary
First, I am not in NYC (I know, I know... very misleading!) I WAS living in NY when I created this account, but then I moved to Oslo and I can't seem to change it. Sorry!

I'm a lobbyist, a traveler, a (learning) photographer and a PhD candidate (War Studies) ... I moved to Oslo for a very cool job and a change of pace.

I'm a strong proponent of snark, sarcasm and the dark humor, but I maintain that optimism is the only reasonable way to get on with things.

I believe Sunday mornings are for brunch, that family defies geography and biology, and that Scotch exists because the universe loves me and wants me to be happy.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a humanitarian advocate… A sort of activist-lobbyist. I work for an international aid organization with a focus on protection of civilians in armed conflict, and on displacement crises in the Middle East.

I work hard and I travel a lot, but I would like to meet someone that makes me want to stay home a bit more often.
I’m really good at
Vegetarian chili, pecan pie and baileys chocolate cheese cake ...
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes

...also, apparently, my "neutral" face is sometimes confused with "angry face"... do not be alarmed!

I have read the entire Sookie Stackhouse series.

There. I said it. What a weight off!!
You should message me if
... you actually live IN Olso (or close-ish at least!) I'm not interested in a booty call from someone passing through, and I don't need a "pen pal" from some other country!
