My self-summary
To start things out, my name is Hugo; I am originally from Venezuela, though I have been living in this country for close to 10 years. All the same, I am always looking to meet new and awesome people! Perhaps that could be you? :)

I like to describe myself as that fairly mellow guy who still embraces an spirit of adventure. One of my passions is trying out new things and meeting new cultures, and by saying that am sure you can infer that I am big into traveling! So far I have been able to visit Venice, Madrid & Barcelona, Mexico City and Kyoto, and I have been looking to visit Paris and London, either this year or the next.

To say I like winter sports is an understatement. I started snowboarding when I was 12, and even though I am not exactly good at it, there are not many things that beat the feeling of rushing down a mountain for me.

Besides hanging out with friends and family, I also enjoy playing golf, softball and piano, even though I would be the first one to admit am terrible at all three. Still, I do play a kickass Jingle Bells on the keyboard, so watch out!

Please don't be confused, while I enjoy outdoor activities a great deal, I am kind of a closet geek. I like superhero movies and video games, SciFi and Fantasy, as well as board games of any kind. Recently my family acquired the Game of Thrones board game and it has been a blast. :)
What I’m doing with my life
I am a computer engineer working for a mid sized software development company up in Princeton. While not a terrible exciting job for most, I wouldn't want to do anything else!

In my off-time I like tinkering, though I only started doing it recently. At the moment I am attempting (albeit unsuccessfully), to build a fully functioning mini rail-gun. No it is not dangerous (nor will it ever be), though in its current state it does make for an excellent paperweight.

Besides that, I have been trying to be more physically active in my life. I have three (tres!) 5 miles races under my belt and am definitely looking to run more.

Oh, also adopted a Pembroke Welsh Corgi pup a few months ago. Little guy been occupying most of my time nowadays.
I’m really good at
Rolling my R's... Carrrrrrrrrro.

Dodgeball. I don't have much of a throwing arm, but you will have a very hard time landing a hit on me.

I am also a pretty decent goalie, both in Soccer, Lacrosse and even Broomball. Am yet to try my hand at goalkeeping in hockey, but that is definitely on the books. :P
The first things people usually notice about me
My incredible sexy Latin accent!

... But seriously, my friends always commented how I had "girly" hands. Once that fad is over, next thing people usually notice is that hard to pinpoint accent, I have been trying my damnest to get rid of it, but to no avail...

The six things I could never do without
Besides the friends & family combo:

1. Rear view cameras
2. Cracked.com Articles
3. Grey shirts
4. My self-counting pocket change jar
5. Late night comedy shows
6. My fancy computer mouse
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Schrodinger's Cat and how I can't still wrap my mind around the fact that the cat is essentially a zombie until you open the box...
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with my family and friends, watching movies, playing games or telling stories!

Though more often than not am curled in the couch watching Steven Universe with my pup.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When driving I like cranking up the volume on the radio and singing along the song's lyrics... pretty terribly may I add.
You should message me if
- You think Thomas Edison was a jerk and Nikola Tesla should had just sapped his ass to next year.
- You believe grey shirts are pretty cool (am 'mostly' kidding about the grey shirts).
- You understand that I have this very bad tic when writing that I tend to end many sentences with emoticons (its gotten better though).
- Are willing to talk about any shows, movies, music that you or I like.
- Hey, if you just want to talk, that is pretty cool too, so feel free to hit me up!
