My self-summary
I work at an animal hospital as a veterinary technician, I love being around animals all day. I'm a biology major in college and working on applications for vet schools.

I'm always trying out new recipes for baking and cooking. I've been expanding my culinary repertoire by taking a few cooking classes (thanks living social). My family and co-workers tend to be my guinea pigs when I try out new recipes or just tweaking old favorites.

I like playing games, video or board. It's all fun and games with hopefully as little loss of eyes as possible in the process. Though some of favorites include the Fallout series and board games such as Betrayal at House on the Hill (imagine Clue plus Scooby Doo).

Also a big fan of comic books, so you'll often find me at the midnight premiere of comic movies hooting and hollering with all the other geeks.
What I’m doing with my life
I work at an animal hospital, finishing up my undergrad and next stop vet school.
I’m really good at
Quoting movies/tv shows, making pop culture references, whipping up a tasty meal, and I make a mean Mojito or Margarita.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have a deep, hearty laugh. If I haven't cut my hair in a while it starts to get curly (think hobbit hair). Also my goatee, though I'm in the middle of upgrading it to a beard.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm a big fan of the Song of Ice and Fire series, Princess Bride Dark Tower series, Sherlock Holmes, American Gods, Sandman, Discworld (especially anything involving Death) and Harry Potter (Go Hufflepuff!).

I'm really big on movies especially Sci fi and fantasy films like Serenity, Robocop, Starship Troopers, Star Trek (duh), Star Wars (duh again), Blade Runner, Princesss Bride, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, etc.

Extremely bad movies also have their charm. Troll 2, The Room and pretty much any monster movie that is shown on the Syfy channel.

As for TV shows that I could watch at any given time would be Archer, 30 Rock, Arrested Development, Doctor Who, It Crowd, Monty Python, Firefly , Pushing Daisies, Parks and Recreations, Simpsons (only seasons 2-12), Futurama, How I Met Your Mother, Adventure Time, Regular Show.

When it comes to music I love a good laugh. So I love Weird Al Yankovic, Jonathan Coulton, They Might Be Giants, Paul and Storm, Tenacious D, Flight of the Conchords

Besides comedy related music I like to listen to classic rock so a lot of AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Rush, Boston, Queen, and The Beatles.

I'm half Chilean so I'm all about seafood and wine. I love my meat though, so sometimes I take a very Ron Swanson approach to food. Give me all the bacon and eggs you have.
The six things I could never do without
Given all the necessities such as food, air, water, etc.

A good laugh
My dogs
My laptop
The internet
My phone
Earl Grey tea
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How much I would love to own a bulldog (or pretty much any brachycephalic breed).
What I should make for lunch/dinner.
How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie pop?
On a typical Friday night I am
If I'm not hanging out with friends I'm out wandering D.C. checking out new bars/restaurants or at home trying out new recipes from some of the cooking classes I've taken.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'll turn up the volume in the car if a Katy Perry song comes on the radio.
You should message me if
You would consider yourself a geek/nerd.
You like the idea of watching a horrible movie and laughing your head off.
You get excited whenever a new Doctor Who episode comes out.
You don't mind a little pet hair on your clothes.
