Baking (but no necessarily cooking)
Winning (anything can be won if viewed properly)
Science (but not as good as I should be)
I love reading, but it tends to be limited to science fiction or fantasy. I especially enjoy a book if it can make me put it down to think or read it several times. Current favorite author is Gene Wolfe, though I used to really enjoy Stephen King. And I can always open Catch 22 to a random page and just start reading it.
I don't watch many movies, but I do enjoy watching them with my friends when someone else feels like watching something and Disney has some powerful nostalgia. I also can't resist Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The only TV I intentionally watch is game of thrones (and I read the books first) although I used to watch a bunch of Adult Swim with my roommates and I have a soft spot for some of the cartoons I watched as a kid.
I inherited my taste in music from my parents mostly, so its mostly a combination of classic rock and show tunes, with my favorite artist being Neil Young. That being said, I do like music that I find funny (which tends to be very nerd humor for music), and I have recently started listening to Nightwish.
The foods I like generally involve chocolate or way to much sugar. Also shrimp. But no potatoes, they are an evil and malicious vegetable.
Meat - sorry vegetarians, I am too picky an eater to cut this out of my diet, hope you don't have a problem with that
Basic kitchen equipment - for my definition of basic, I recently learned that a family I know didn't have an oven and wondered how they managed to stay fed
a computer - yeah, i know, basic but I do need it
my collection of magic cards - even leaving them hours away doesn't stop me from getting sucked back in, it just makes it inconvenient
texting - I HATE making actual phone calls; messaging, email, video chat, even written letters, anything is better then having to use my phone
all of those things everyone else says because they are actually necessary
