My self-summary
I am an unjustifiably confident and optimistic college grad trying to figure out the rest of my life. While it sometimes takes me a while to really warm up to new people, there are very few people I don't like. I enjoy a good argument, though I try not to judge people. My motto, if I can be said to have one, is don't worry about it.
What I’m doing with my life
Just graduated college with a degree in Physics, still working on what to actually do next. Considering teaching, so I'm currently working at a local school for the differently abled and tutoring. Using my spare time to stay involved in community theater, improve my cooking, and possibly play more games then I should.
I’m really good at
Acting (or at least I like to think so)
Baking (but no necessarily cooking)
Winning (anything can be won if viewed properly)
Science (but not as good as I should be)
The first things people usually notice about me
"Oh my God, are you wearing buckyballs? I love those things! Can I see them?" Because everyone loves playing with my balls.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite hobby is games. It doesn't really matter what kind but I prefer to play with other people and I can be very competitive. I tend toward strategy games or RPGs, though currently my friends have gotten me into League of Legends. And apparently I'm still a six year old as I haven't stopped playing Pokemon.

I love reading, but it tends to be limited to science fiction or fantasy. I especially enjoy a book if it can make me put it down to think or read it several times. Current favorite author is Gene Wolfe, though I used to really enjoy Stephen King. And I can always open Catch 22 to a random page and just start reading it.

I don't watch many movies, but I do enjoy watching them with my friends when someone else feels like watching something and Disney has some powerful nostalgia. I also can't resist Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The only TV I intentionally watch is game of thrones (and I read the books first) although I used to watch a bunch of Adult Swim with my roommates and I have a soft spot for some of the cartoons I watched as a kid.

I inherited my taste in music from my parents mostly, so its mostly a combination of classic rock and show tunes, with my favorite artist being Neil Young. That being said, I do like music that I find funny (which tends to be very nerd humor for music), and I have recently started listening to Nightwish.

The foods I like generally involve chocolate or way to much sugar. Also shrimp. But no potatoes, they are an evil and malicious vegetable.
Six things I could never do without
My bed - Whatever and wherever it happens to be, it is my favorite place in the world

Meat - sorry vegetarians, I am too picky an eater to cut this out of my diet, hope you don't have a problem with that

Basic kitchen equipment - for my definition of basic, I recently learned that a family I know didn't have an oven and wondered how they managed to stay fed

a computer - yeah, i know, basic but I do need it

my collection of magic cards - even leaving them hours away doesn't stop me from getting sucked back in, it just makes it inconvenient

texting - I HATE making actual phone calls; messaging, email, video chat, even written letters, anything is better then having to use my phone

all of those things everyone else says because they are actually necessary
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The universe, super powers (we're going to have them someday because science is awesome), and how to be better at whatever I'm currently doing. Also, I sometimes get obsessed over some topic I know nothing about for about three days, read everything I can about it, then lose interest and forget most of it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Rehearsing for a show or trying to defeat those people I enjoy spending time with in something. Or even people I don't know, its a good way to get to know them.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Its hard for me to sing some sad songs without my eyes tearing up a bit. Partly because the songs, but also because I love hearing myself sing.
You should message me if
We have similar interests and you're looking to meet someone new, or even if you're just looking for someone to play some awesome games with.
