That all sounds pretty nerdy, but I'm honestly not as bad as that sounds.
I'm a huge movie buff.
I love animals.
I'm a dual citizen of the US and Ireland (hence the IRL; that's through my dad who was born and raised in Dublin. I was born in the US).
And yes, to the multitude of people who've pointed out the irl thing, yes I am familiar with it being known as "in real life" but it's also the abbreviation for Ireland.
I hate writing about myself because ugh.
This is my first attempt at a dating website.
I'm sorry if I don't answer you. Please don't feel bad!
One thing I will say is that I'm looking for someone somewhat laid-back. It's kinda hypocritical, but too much awkwardness is a big turnoff.
Books - Harry Potter (nerd), A Song of Ice and Fire, The Hunger Games(read the trilogy in four days), Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (which I need to reread)
Movies - obsessed with movies. Pretty much anything. Well, I'm not too much into dramas. Action, fantasy, and adventure are probably my favorites. Horror can be amusing. i laughed through the remake of Friday the 13th. None of them really surprise or scare me anymore. Anything Tarantino. Or Joss Whedon. Horror comedies are awesome (ie. Cabin in the Woods, Evil Dead, Drag Me to Hell, Shaun of the Dead, Planet Terror). I loved Inception for what a mindfuck it was. I have been able to recite the LOTR lines while watching them. Although I don't generally like the way books are interpreted into movies. (forcibly stopping myself).
Shows - Firefly, The Daily Show, The Walking Dead, New Girl, Game of Thrones, Supernatural, The Newsroom, Once Upon a Time, blargh so many
Music - mostly rock, from alternative to classic to death metal (not really anything that only consists of screaming); I'm pretty open to most everything, though.
Food - what. chocolate? well I'm definitely not a vegetarian. But in a zombie apocalypse, I would have to be. I love animals.
obviously I gave up
