I grew up in Vegas and somehow have no childhood photos. Then I studied a lot, became a professor, traveled a lot, then moved to SF to practice what I taught.
If you are awesome and adventurous, interesting to converse with, and clean up well to go out, then say hello! I don't bite.. too hard. :-)
Just moved to SF on my birthday in August! Woohoo! Pretty excited about the city and having my own place in it!
This is the dream life I always wanted (almost). I spend my life the way I love to: with wonderful family and friends, exploring and adventuring, and making a difference in the world. The "almost" is because I haven't succeeded at world takeover yet and because it's about to get even better once you are a part of it!
Travel is amazing! It will make you grow as a person and give you super powers. Plus, you get to try new experiences, see natural wonders, eat bizarre food, and meet fascinating cultures and great people!
Breathing underwater is an awesome super power. I've met manta rays, dolphins, turtles, sharks, eels, lobsters, crabs, sea horses, squid, sea lions, seals, sea otters, and much much more!
Flying is a pretty handy super power too. I embarked on a solo round-the-world backpacking trip to so many amazing places, always going west until I was back in SF. Thailand was paradise, but it wasn't meant to last! Super-Dan smiled wistfully and effortlessly tossed tourists from the island onto the aircraft carrier. Ok ok, I helped other tourists and natives climb the rope net from a raft tossing around in huge 15 foot swells onto the aircraft carrier sent to evacuate us.
Pursuing my passions, pretending to be responsible, and laughing at myself a lot
-Super-Dan was a Professor at 25
-Evil-Dan led a mad science research lab with $12 million of your dollars at 26 (mwuahaha! corrupting young minds with human experiments and mind control. I stretched your taxpayer dollars to last an extra year too!)
-Now at Google, putting nefarious ways behind me - "don't be evil?" pffft, where's the fun in that?
Relationships -- Let's face it. Mind reading makes this a piece of cake, and being able to fly makes for fun times in the bedroom.
Snowboarding and SCUBA diving
I also have a lot of energy and am comfortable in almost any situation (natural disasters and life-threatening situations tend to give you a little help with perspective).
Food: My favorite food is something new. These are also awesome: sushi, my spicy Thai cooking (I learned in Bangkok), and Italian, international street food, and Grasshoppers (not half bad deep-fried).
Movies and Music: I love variety, and live musicians and actors are amazing.
