My self-summary
Hi, I'm Drew. I'm a secular humanist, atheist, and I believe in the oxford comma. I have two bachelor degrees and have been a geek, gamer, and nerd since I was 3. I enjoy long walks in nuclear wastelands, taking opera breaks before saving the world, and time traveling in a blue box.

I'm an intellectual at heart and value logic, reason, and free thought very highly. Because of this, I tend to be rather analytical and straightforward. I appreciate blunt honesty and not beating around the bush to make a point. Life is too short to waste on needlessly complicating things, and you only get one.

I fight for what I believe in even if my opponents are close to home, like my family. I love debate and rational discourse. Garnering respect from me is as simple as being 100% unabashedly, entirely yourself, even if we disagree.
What I’m doing with my life
I’m an HR professional for an international automotive auction company. I can honestly say I love my job. There’s something fulfilling about waking up every morning and looking forward to going in to work.

The next step in my life would be to find someone that I’m compatible with. I ultimately want a woman I can have as a best friend, as well as a girlfriend, and one day a wife.
I’m really good at
Super Smash Bros.

No, in all honesty, I like to think I’m a really good listener. Most people listen and just hear what they want to get them through until the next time they speak. I listen with an open mind. I think it’s due to the fact that I enjoy pondering (refer to the “I spend a lot of time thinking about” section).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Like most people, I enjoying watching Netflix. I can jump from crappy horror movies to documentaries to theatrically released movies. Star Wars, LOTR, movies from Marvel, your basic nerd stuff.

I try to keep up with Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Supernatural, etc, etc, etc… As you can probably guess, if it's nerdy I've either seen it, read it, or it's on my list.

Musically I’m drawn to 80’s rock, modern rock, jazz, and techno.
The six things I could never do without
Board gaming
PC gaming
The wonderful support system I call my friends
A good book
The job I have to fund all of the gaming I do
Things to collect
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time thinking. I enjoy reading philosophy books so the majority of my time I spend deep in thought about anything and everything. Naturally, it leads to thoughts about visiting Athens. I mean, who wouldn’t want to ponder their existence while standing amongst the ruins of the Parthenon?
On a typical Friday night I am
You can find me watching my latest documentary interest on Netflix, unwinding while playing some PC games, setting up for a board game night with friends or trying new foods at a restaurant I’ve not been to.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I thoroughly enjoy musicals. I’ve seen Phantom of the Opera, Rent, Wicked, and Lion King. My next step is Les Miserables on the stage.
You should message me if
You are not religious.
You want to game with me.
You are okay with me being allergic to cats.
(I'd consider immunotherapy to be able to be around cats if that was
needed.)
